Does anyone here know if it is at all possible to run RCT on my mac? We had 2 HP's go out on us in less than 2 years, and 2 dell's before that, so we made the switch to Mac. I don't regret it at all, I love it but I would like to figure out some way to play RCT2 without having to go to my dad's house.
I'm assuming they never made RCT2 for Mac, so unless I install boot camp and a copy of windows I'm probably screwed on that huh...
Thanks you guys -

Gaming and a Mac aren't a winning combo. There are very few games that run on a Mac besides even the hardware shortcomings of most of them. Apples are overpriced though for what you actually get, but if you don't do much more than office stuff and surfing it's a decent choice I guess. You pay mostly for the name and the design. Besides, since they replaced their CPUs with Intels and that you can install XP to begin with makes it a bit obsolete to be honest. [/end rant]
As for Dell and HP pc's you're usually better of just assembling one yourself. I do have a Dell though, but the service on it here was a lot better compared to what I heard from the US (we don't have indian to begin with). Got a burned graphicscard three times and one fried motherboard, but they usually replaced that within two days so the warranty and service were pretty good.
But getting to the point (and perhaps more helpful), the only other way I know to get windows running is by the use of VirtualPC, but as far as I know just get bootcamp and find yourself a cheap XP license. Not the retail one but the OEM one. The lie that you can only get the cheaper OEM version if you buy a new system is pretty annoying. The thing is that if you get an OEM version is that you indicate that you become the systembuilder thus loosing your support from M$, which isn't a big deal anyway. -

maybe wine? i don't know if it'll run under os x, but if i'm not mistaken it's designed for unix based os's. other than that maybe try virtualpc or something.
