Hi!
This topic is just all about the fun of RCT.
What is your crappiest, oldest park - or park you're really ashamed of?
I'ts like a look behind the glance of the NE parkmakers and all the wannabes
And it's also supposed to be an "advertising" topic how you've began and so on.
So don't be shy and show your work, no matter how old and crappy it is!
Have fun!

i wouldnt say my oldest/first park was the crappiest, i mean you cant exactly expect to build a masterpiece on your first try can you? if i can remember a long time back, back in the rct2.com days i released a park called Carlton Downs, which was basically a 'brown' park with 2 coasters in it, and more or less nothing else. i just filled the entire map with tree's.
My first ever park was Afrika, which if i remember correctly was a pretty good park. After that i built Wild Wonders with Metropole, not long after that was John Williams. Other parks i can remember are 'Las Alturas', 'Dracula' (for an rct2 contest), my PT Water Coaster entry that came 3rd, Chamonix, an unfinished trio with w33man and CBAT a long time ago, a couple of attempts at 'voo2' with Voodoo/Phil, and finally umpteenth attempts at Elland Point, which is still sitting in my saved games folder. Shame theres no evidence of my older parks, id love to see them. -

I really thought my first "serious" attempt at parkmaking, Fairwood Creek Amusement Park, was not that bad of a park. It really had some positives such as the 1/4 detailing I did on certain theming and the elegance of the entrance plaza. My crappiest work is definitely my half of the IIIcons week 5 park, Mysterious Forest, in H2H3. Despite the fact that it was greatly rushed and seriously unfinished, I don't think there was one positive about that park-
1. The architecture lacked detailing, was extremely boring, and did not support the surroundings
2. The foliage was done by random clicking, had no realism to it, created no atmosphere
3. The colors were "out-there" and had no connection to the swamp
4. The layout was descent but still extremely boring and a bit on the short side
5. The terrain was random and done by random clicking -

Everything I built before I found RCT Competition was horrible. Just coasters and confusingly, non-strategically-placed pathways. No scenery except maybe for some pine trees lined up in rows. Even in Arid Heights -

I've built some monstrosities. My first ever park was a 256x256 park called Neptune Americana. Whilst it sucked, I did learn a lot from it. Then some of my RCT Compo challenge simon entries were hideous, including Bankoomi falls, though I seem to remember the invert being kinda cool. -

Well my first work was like most very bad, but that's mostly out of the LL age. My worst rct2 piece is Oasis of Asha. -

If i only could remember all those parks. Dont even have them anymore and I truly hate myself for deleting my saved games folder. Marshy if you happen to have any of my old parks or collabos whatever, could you please please send them over or give me a pm about it? -

Nowhere. It's too old and outdated.
It has some sort of sentimental value (?) to me
But it's really not worth showing.
I have more parks like that.

Dude... I loved Bankoomi Falls! I idolized you and tyandor for the stuff you built for RCT Competition. That invert was so kick-ass, too.I've built some monstrosities. My first ever park was a 256x256 park called Neptune Americana. Whilst it sucked, I did learn a lot from it. Then some of my RCT Compo challenge simon entries were hideous, including Bankoomi falls, though I seem to remember the invert being kinda cool.

Lol ...
Sure?
My crappiest park ... hm .. one of my first things, without any CSOs and without any knowledge.
It was called 'Coaster World'.
And here's a screen from.
And another screen, from another very crappy work, called 'Jungle Camp':

Haha. I love this topic.
I would show all of my old stuff attempting to win the scenarios, but none of that really counts, so heres my first attempt at parkmaking- Six Flags Over Florida. It's not too crappy, but it's very outdated. No CSOs.
I take that back. It is pretty crappy. -

I love how everyone's "crappiest parks" are things that I would only have done in late 2004, when I finally noticed the game could be played that way. I'll find some really old stuff from my mom's computer and post screens of that. I will own you all at this topic.
