Plain and Simple: Worst Job youve ever had. Winner gets absolutely nothing (except the satisfaction that they have the worst job, and are suffering the most).

My current one is probably the worst. Sitting in front of a computer for eight hours a day bored out of my mind. Im supposed to be analyzing invoices, but it really doesnt require much thought at all...

The worst I've ever had, was baking burgers at McDonald's. It's mostly the smell that was bothering me. After two days, my cloths, my hair and even my skin smelled like burgers. Everything I ate and drank, even milk, tasted like a Big Mac. Besides that, the atmosphere was really great.

Ps: I'm new here, but can't find anything like a newbie presentation topic, or some kind.

Sunoco gas station, that sucked so much I got fired on purpose and threw a party in celebration of getting fired

haha, yeah. quizno's is a pretty shitty establishment, especially when the only people you work with are indians that barely know english.

    Six Flags:

I'm an Entertainment Tech, which means I have to run the shows you see.. even if 4 peoples watch it.

It's owned my Mark Shapiro - biggest dick to the company I've known about.

No overtime pay and 60 hrs/wk minimum.

3 Different outfits: button up, polo, and a tye-dye that has noooooooo resemblance to a gay pride parade whatsoever..

I fractured my wrist on my 3 day working because a damn tree fell on me (part of the stage scenery), meaning that I can't climb the trusses to hang lights or use the rigging.

    Worker's Comp sucks.

I work at SFOT in all black, so I sweat more than a race horse pisses (no really, all shirts I wear each day are drenched in sweat, even the extra undershirt I bring in).

I've also worked as a front gate ticket seller which means:

"WHAT!! Why are your tickets so highly priced??!!"

"My child WILL be charged for a child admission." (the kid was 12 and 5 ft tall)

Small booth (bout the same size a double wide mattress) working with 3 other people.

You get to stand in one place for your entire shift (cept for food breaks).

    The pay sucks.

    There are some perks, though:

I run CIRQUE DREAMS, which is a smaller version of other CIRQUE productions, and isn't too bad to watch.

I run the spotlight in that show, which means I'm 20 feet in the air and get to look down women's shirts!

I don't have to deal much with people since I work "behind the scenes".

And the Number 1. thing I despise most about working at SF (it could be any SF) is how many people ask me for discounted tickets or getting people in for free... I CAN'T DO THAT!!! And if I can, I only have a select amount of tickets to give. So shut up.

    http://forums.nedesi...showtopic=14112 And welcome to NE.

I design and code websites at the moment. It's quite good actually, unless I have to modify an existing site which drifts because I have to spend ages reading someone else's messy code.

I do the same as Deano atm.
But what's more frustrating is to optimise the website on each browser : /

^ I know... especially internet explorer. The job would be 10x easier if microsoft would just conform to W3C.

    chat line manager

    fun

Chat line? As in one of those 900 numbers that charge you lots of money to have a massive conference call? Or are we talking one those 900 numbers where obese women pretend to be really hot chicks willing to sleep with you?

Either way, Id say youve taken the cake so far...

my job is pretty boring now (taking phone calls, checking people in, and schedualing new appointments) but I can't complain, I'm getting paid for reading a book for about half of the time.

i enjoyed lifeguarding at our public pool, mainly because it was one big slack-off job.

being a csa at hastings wasn't enjoyable, i don't really like retail and plus i was pretty horrible at it.

the job i'm most glad that i don't have any more is coaching the swim team. i enjoyed dealing with the kids when they would swim their laps, and i knew exactly what i was doing, it's mostly the fact that one of the other coaches was a giant douche who didn't know what she was doing and talked to the parents most of the time leaving me and the other coach to the kids and then me not getting the job back this year and not being told that i've been replaced when i knew the most about the strokes and had swam on the team for like 9 years previosly (the replacement doesn't know much about swimming). i mean, a little loyalty would be nice... screw that.

I haven't really liked any job I've had. Right now I push carts around the parking lot at Target, I get minimum wage, and half of the other "cart attendents" are literally retarded. But at the beginning of the summer I was broke and in no position to shop around for jobs. It's good sometimes but I am sick of it. Oh well, 3 more weeks and I go back to school anyway.

Worst was probably temping in a warehouse for a double glazing firm, thankfully that was only for a day. Early start and spending most of the day tidying the site or cleaning out vans was pretty dull. Possibly not as boring as the day packing mailshots however.

I'm a bagger at Kroger so I also push carts...I love it when I'm pushing carts in and people decide to drive carelessly in front of you. I mean, look people, I can't magically stop the carts from rolling downhill.
