General Chat / Divorce

No question about it. My life has only improved since my divorce. I was just thinkin' about all the awesome people at this site and figured it was time to let you all know what's going with JKay. I knowt this my personal stuff, but WTF, I'm having too much fun not to post this and NE has always been a good place for some drama.

I haven't played RCT in over 6 months (except for my dismal guest attempt on Kumba's park). I now find it difficult even to play video games. My new thing is hip hop music. I'm actually working on producing my own beats. I love it. I'm also into some sports now, like golf, racquetball and tennis.

As for my personal life, well, its gettin' good now. I'm currently dating three girls with a pregnant/married girl also in the mix. DATING IS NOT EASY. lol. My ex-wife is now pregnant by the man she cheated on me with and the guy is denying the child. From what I can tell, she is now trying to get me to be this kid's father. Um, can you say NO!....lol

Anyway, its good to NE is still alive and kicking. It'd be nice to see you guys chime in. I know turtle and john both pm'd me awhile ago....sorry for not responding....

Yeah, with no children I guess it could seem that way. But me going through my parents' divorce was REALLY bad. It's still bad.

I'd like to make my own beats too, but I don't have money for all the equipment and shit that you need. I always have some type of beat in my head. Suggestion: Go for a lot of bass. Everyone loves the bass. Anyway, glad to see everything is working out for you. Best wishes.

NOT NECESSARILY. Sometimes, a child in the middle of a chaotic marriage might have it worse, because the parents' fighting with each other results in hell for the kid, or the parents ignore the kid.

If the divorced parents still take time out for their children after the divorce and go about things smartly, a divorce may not be the worst thing a child can experience. Trust me on this, sometimes, you kinda wish your parents WOULD just get a divorce, just to stop the stupid fighting.


The unfortunate fact is that most of the time, divorce IS the worst thing that can happen to a child, because the parents are irresponsible to begin with. But you can't apply that to every situation.

I agree, it's much worse than being kidnapped by a paedophile, raped and tortured for a week and then being strangled to death.

I agree that divorce isn't the worst thing for a child. God, I remember back when I was 4 and my parents would scream for an hour and then hurl things at eachother from opposite ends of the room. Full glasses of water, cereal bowls, my toys. It was not a fun time and I've actually thanked my mom for getting out when she did. Now that doesn't mean it doesn't have its hardships but the situation I was in was pretty bad and could only go up from there.
