    Whats up guys,
I used to come on this forum fairly regularly, but I didnt really post a lot, so I dont know if anybody is going to remember me. Anyway, the reason I'm back is because I need some quick help. About 2 years ago I stopped playing rct, so I erased it from my hard drive, but now after browsing this website a little, I'm inspired to play again. Can somebody, with a pretty current object data folder please email me a copy of it so I can restore all my custom objects? I would appreciate it a lot. My address is v_botvinnik@yahoo.com.

Thanks, and hopefully I'll start playing and posting soon enough.

    For real....

Just download the parks you want to see, they will have the objects imported with them.

i've considered that and started downloading some parks. the problem is that not all of them come with the custom scenery packed in the file, and also, i had played for several years, over which i accumulated a great amount of custom objects, it would take a very long time to track down all the files i downloaded, probably impossible.

if anybody can help me out, let me know. thanks.

Well, if your main intent is to really build, then you might start out with the PT2 & 3 benches. Especially the last give you an up-to-date bench.

For the first problem, just look at the filesize: the bigger they are, the more custom scenery will come with them.......

For the second one: yeah, tracking down all the files you ever downloaded would probably be impossible, but on the other hand if someone would send you his (or her) Object folder, how many chances are there that it'll give you most of the objects you ever had ,apart from the fact that many others have been added and are in use by now.....

Tyandor gave you a very good advice I think: load those PT-benches, and maybe also the one by Geewhizz

Now start doing a little work yourself and have fun with the game again.......and good luck...

it would be too big of a file, my current full object count zipped is over 2 GB

What's the big issue here man? I highly doubt you'll find what you used to have. Just download the PT benches and geewhzz's new bench for sure. If you think of something specific... just use the Custom Scenery Exchange here. Start building and have some fun....

This was going to be my original reply. Mine is only 132 mg right now, which is still too large a file to e-mail.

The thing with all the old objects you had is, well, they're old. Not to say that all old objects are bad, but many of the newer ones are better.
