Ask the Experts / Advice for a midway.

Hey I'm new here and I am currently working on a park, but I have no idea what kind of buildings go into a midway. I know there is restaraunts and gift shops but is there anything else? I'm know this is kind of a dumb question but I'm stumped and I thought I would ask the experts.

Ever been to an actual amusement park?

Carny Games line the midway most I'd say. Arcades are pretty common as well. Garedens, various flats & small tracked rides (antique cars, etc) fill in the spots without buildings. Roller Coasters, while generally visable from the main midway are often technically away from there. I'm thinking of Cedar Point here, but even there some rides, like Raptor, are right over the midway and line branches off of the main path.

Yeah, I've been to many real parks, before that it why I said it was a stupid question. Just all I've ever seen have been little arcades and games and I wondered if there was anything else to it. Thanks for the advice though, it really helped.

generally not very tall buildings; little specialty shops and the occasional big building, but almost all share a roof. so really you just need facades. don't go for the two straight lines look, make it intiresting by having some facades have balconies over the path or some slightly recessed.
