Just when I was actually about to pop in my RCT2 after about a year and build some good old fashioned NCSO you had to post this screen... Great stuff, I am going back under my rock now.

    Well shit.
So much for advertising on here haha.

I think the Sky Screamer(?) isn't executed very clean, especially next to the rest which is so 'perfect'. But great NCSO.

The screen isn't taken from the best angle, we only get to see the back of the buildings. Probably looks better in game, but I've seen better screens from you. (It's still a good screen obviously)

It's a good screen, but I don't see what's so fantastic about it. It lacks atmosphere and the colours seem to clash a bit, probably because it's still very unfinished. I look forward to seeing more of this.

To be honest, I'm not feeling the additions a lot. I think most of the colours you've added don't work well with what was there before, which was more harmonious in my opinion. I agree with Wicksteed though that the angle is probably a little inappropriate to judge the buildings from. Still not a fan of the egyptian scenery in there. Really think those blocks stick out negatively.

In general though, I'm so impressed by what's possible with NCSO. I wish more people chose to just brush all their objects aside and put themselves to the real challenge of only using what the game offers you. I'm sure we would see more creativity that way because the objects no longer solve your design problems. I'm actually for a NCSO contest sometime soon to boost this playstyle because I find it so much more interesting than CSO. It often feels to me as if CSO has become some sort of race for how accurate a replication of real life you can get via ultrarealistic style parkmaking. There's too little imagination or parkmaker personality in it.

A very small urban themed park featuring "real" two/four lane road traffic.
There are two stations disguised as a petrol station and a secure parking area feeding the roads with 2 x 14 "russian cars". Cars slow down before curves and accelerate on the straights.

generally, I really like it, especially that bridge.
but you should add some diagonal paths for the bends instead of that quadratic ones.
some of the small buildings are too quadratic as well. maybe you could modify them with diagonal walls. furthermore they need more details. add some windows, doors, balconies, signs ..etc.

That bridge is genius! I don't know whether that's been done before.
I also really like the overall look.

Fantastic idea for the suspension bridge!

I think I've seen the bridge-thing before. I'm intrigued by the bridge's footers and general look. It has that lovely 1920s feeling. I also like the mix between very realistic parts (at least in terms of atmosphere) and parts that look like basic RCT scenarios.

I posted a screenshot of a similar bridge some time ago, but couldn't finish the park because of a problem with one entrance.
For the critical points, I think one thing is right, (american) style buildings shouldn't be quadratic ;-)

Very very good, but just short of being phenomenal. 1k ruins objects and some light brown grasses would really make things pop.

You're getting away from your same building, and it's amazing. Agreed about adding foliage, that's all it needs IMO.
  • highroll3r%s's Photo
yes and yes. all it needs is foilage. i think it needs a theme too.
