    Hi
  • Cocoa%s's Photo
As much as I enjoy korean parkmaking, those screens fail to impress me because of the bad coaster flow and imo ugly texture/wall combinations. plus that ship just doesn't work for me.

That second picture is so sick, but still...sloppy :(
  • Xtreme97%s's Photo
The Sinking Ship in the second is absolutley fantastic!

I missed you, Korean parkmakers. Do more of that.
  • nin%s's Photo
Robbie, I feel like the snow in your screen in unconvincing; there are too many contradictions to make it believable.
  • Comet%s's Photo
I agree, it's weird to see tropical foliage right next to snow/ice. And if it is snow why not just make it white, I understand how the color of ice can be different from place to place but snow is literally white all the time
The rest of the screen is gorgeous though

    I'm still terrible at RCT2:

^I know that u r trying start small, but it is easier to do something bigger than a micro. Maybe 30x30 ,at the least? Anyways, this looks semi-realistic. If u are aiming for more realism, B&M inverts don't have the turn before the drop, and almost all of them (with the exception of one under construction) have a pre-drop. Also, they have more inversions. I know that is hard with a micro-park, but maybe u could build a on a bit bigger map?

I figured this was the only place to post this, I'm absolutely not making a topic. I was a member of this site on and off for maybe three years, and by, "member", I mean person who posted the songs he was listening to and was otherwise an asshole no one cared about that didn't build. I don't enjoy rollercoasters very much and never got the hang of the, probably imagined by me, "NE style" of building. Because of this I never got very far on any projects. Making things seemed like a chore. But I've been doing a lot of art for school lately, and I've found it incredibly therapeutic. Though I don't enjoy rollercoasters, I've enjoyed theme parks and this game my whole life. So fuck it, as soon as I'm done with college apps I'm gonna do the whole Bootcamp thing so I can start playing again. I doubt people are going to enjoy what I build but I know now I need to build for me.Just thought your life probably rests on the knowledge of what I'm considering doing regarding this game.

Nice to hear such a story. Seems like a great motivation. I am curious to see what you come up with.

@School_Jin: The screens are prety good. The thing that really catches my eye is the purple thing on the left haha.

While I love the boldness and uniqueness of Korean parkmakers, the screens really don't impress because, as Cocoa already pointed out, the coasters are just plain BAD... I haven't seen a single good layout from a Korean parkmaker before, no matter how impressive the architecture is.

Are you kidding me? That ship is ridiculously awesome! How can you not be impressed by that!

With that attitude you certainly do, so get over it and start getting better.

I have to agree with the post above and say this is way too small, and its much easier to build in a small, unrestricted area within a larger map than on a small island floating in space.

Don't care. You realistic folk have enough to masturbate to already without making another cookie cutter B&M layout.

^ said it better than I could.

It doesn't need to be cookie cutter. These just lack any kind of aesthetically pleasing flow entirely. For me, it's less about realism, more about flow.
  • ivo%s's Photo
For me the aesthetics doesnt have to be good aswell. But this coaster seems to lack of any idea in general. Amd that is what I don't like about it.
  • RRP%s's Photo
If anything the coasters in Korean spoil the whole creations for me. Everything else is usually great but the rides are always terrible. Like painting a beautiful picture then making a huge mistake right in the focal point.

Since when was I considered a realistic player? Something does not need to be realistic to be amazing. You know what I mean, look at older fantasy spotlights like RoB or City of Dreams etc., not completely realistic, but there's an aesthetic, a flow, a beauty in the layout. None whatsoever in these korean parks.
