That screen is just fantastic. The path looks a little off to me but the foilage and archy is perfect. The fountians could be more of an attraction as well. -

it's a monster picnic, but humans are allowed today.
Thanks everyone, there's more to come! JDP, there's nothing that would cause the roof to glitch? -

Hi, here are a few images from my last project "Oasis of butterflies", which is rather small and only experimental.
The idea was to expand a small golfplace at a highly frequented desert road (borrowed from the original scenario "dusty greens" and - simulate some traffic on the highway.
I build two minirollercoasters, which are partly hidden in the mountains at both sides of the map, so you normally only see the four lane desert road. It looks quite funny in my opinion, although I'm not absolutely satisfied with the result.
I'm not into hacking and couldn't make the tracks invisible. The traffic is quite dense in testmodus and looks dynamic and realistic, the cars are driving much faster on the inner lanes, but with passengers traffic density looses a lot, because peeps take too long to get in the vehicles. On the other side, it wouldn't make much sense to have a lot of open cabrios circulating without passengers only to get higher traffic density.
I've seen a few parcs on NE with traffic, with good looking roads and small cars moving, but the traffic wasn't dynamic and much fun to look at, this is something you can probably only achieve with a rollercoaster in my opinion.

@maverix: it definitely seems like you were just trying to copy the mexico entrance from frankisches abuenterland... the blue awnings like that, the square flower boxes on the hill, the fountains, the tower...
other than that, it seems like a decent screen, but a bit lifeless.
@trav: cool, I like those colors -

The scale seems to be a bit off. The bunny-hop before the picture is really weird and the foliage is really strange too. -

I think it's cool, particularly the bits with parallel tracks. I like those bits on real coasters, where I can’t quite tell where the track leads off to next until the train is pretty much there. The only part of the layout that sticks out in a less positive way is the second sharp twist downwards. It looks a bit too tight for what I’m imagining the speed of the train to be at that point. Of course, if it is slow enough then feel free to disregard that last comment. -

Newbie here, been browsing NE forever though. I'm like all your personal stalker. A disclaimer: I do mostly NCSO stuff, my PC isn't connected to the internet which makes downloading custom scenery a bitch. Plus, I like the challenge of NCSO, I'm much more comfortable with it. Also, not to brag, but that logo down there might be custom .
