Guys, the Batman graphic novels are some of the most gothic, atmospheric stuff i've seen in ages. I'd love someone to translate this into RCT, rather than just copy the way existing parks have done it.

Couldn't agree more, if you look at the last 2batman movies they are pretty atmospheric, try to go outside that old six flags box and actually theme the rides...

As Batman is by far my favorite superhero I am going to take that as a personal challenge Turtle

Turtle makes a very good point. I remember vewing Fatha's Batman and was in awe at the dark feel it had.

That's honestley a good point, and it does indeed beat the cliche of minimal themeing that we see on such clones.

To be fair, my Batman is meant to be as close to a recreation of St Louis' without it being a recreation, so I had to go down the steel box route

I agree and using it as a rec is good and all but people forget how extremely themed a batman style coaster can be while all people do is taking the cheap six flags way and thus ending up with a cookie cutter coaster that just goes into who builds the nicest steel box, I'd like to see someone make a batman coaster that isn't a B&M in any way and theme it to the comics, that'd be a decent batman coaster imo because who hasn't build a B:TR these days tbh...

I understand the logic behind what you are saying but c'mon, saying who hasn't built a B:TR these days is like saying who hasn't built a Disney themed park? It's just a common trend.

I'm back from my banning (which was a month of torture). Last night, I started on a project called "Mousetrap"



As you can see, I have improved. It is kinda hard to see the point of the coaster, but the lift launches at 20 mph off a mousetrap into a snake's mouth. It's one heck of a lot better than any other of my stuff. Since I took the screen, I have made the ride peepable and have added a ride operator booth.

See last night you started this project after a month's ban. Surely it would have been most appropriate to use that month's ban to build up a project to a better standard than ever at a resonable level of completion, enabling you to post a more complete and therefore better screen? Rather than post something that hasn't had a hell of a lot of action on it, because you only started it last night.

Anyhoo, a bit of a funny theme, and the layout doesnt really do a great deal. The foliage is just lacking in both thought and amount of it, and the overall screen is meh, as there isnt really anything to comment on.

However you have gotten better.

Your station turned out better than mine after all dj. But i'm gonna go work on it some more as im not happy with the results.

^^Sorry. I find it hard to focus on one park. However, this all started when I saw the snake in EPWS, and decided to make a shooting gallery. Then, because of the spinning mice cars, I added the mousetrap. Then, I decided to make a coaster - Mousetrap - and ditch the spinning mice entirely. Overall, it is semi-realistic, and the screen just does not do it justice.

Well... it's different. I will give you that!

I like the station Dotrobot, not so much the rest, it's a bit dull. Flowers would liven it up!

Storm, I love the stuff surrounding and including the red tower, but it feels the other parts could use some work. I don't feel the brick path works there at all, and neither the doors as windows. Looking forward to seeing this nevertheless.

Whoever came up with the monorail idea, it is FANTASTIC! And should be compatible with LL as well. I like it SO much better than rapid ride walls.
