(Archive) Advertising District / Dump-Place

Hello all, I'm working on a park and have a screen from the entrance area! I'll probably add a little more to the area but for now I'm done with that side of the walkway. The coaster there is a shuttle loop inspired by Speed at the Sahara in Las Vegas .

It looks good but i'm not sure if i like the station. Well I'll be honest I don't like anything except the queue on the balcony.

Everything else looks nice and charming though. Maybe a sign to indicate what they're about to ride would be nice as well.

I like everything except the station, looks like those buildings in a cheesy old LL park. The rest of the landscape looks old school though.

^ If by old school you mean flat and textureless, I'm with you 100%. wildroller, don't hesitate to experiment with different ground types, their there for a reason. Just play around with the ground tools until you find something you like and fits the theme.

Wow, that's a significant improvement over either of your's previous work. I see Sky Screamer too, although Coupon, when are you gonna do a non-SF project?

It's nice but too unfinished.

I'm sorry Pierrot, it's not speaking to me. It's a good idea and maybe in a full park setting I'd like it more, but now it just seems... dull. Great try though!

Decided to post a little something. This area is extremely unfinished.

Storm: I have no idea if this is from that project that you've been working on, and if it is, I really think it's lacking from screens you've shown in the past IMO Still nice, however.

Braztaz: Nice to see you on here, but the one thing you still need to work on is details on the buildings. I like how every building has a diffrent depth, but in realisticbuilding, I still think you should look at real buildings for inspiration to improve overall.

You should change one of the colors on the side by side purple buildings. It looks repetetive although the screen isn't repetetive. And fix your foliage glitch. Dmaxsba explained this to me on my topic so learn how! The little glitches can dramatically decrease a aesthetic value.

Hiya. Just a bare layout nothing big.. I can edit some parts that you guys don't like.

And also name suggestions please? Mine/western/or and texan theme names. But you don't specifically have to stay to that category. As long as it's not something too distant.

lol, But Dotrobot, I actually like the layout as it has that Texan Giant type feel to it, But K0ng is right about too many similar turns. Even Texan Giant has a change in direction towards the end.

Use Codex to lower the monorail track so that there's no gap between the tracks. Otherwise, that is incredibly clean--Something that LL rarely has.

Dot that looks great, I'd love to see more from that
