What do you mean, "LL rules of what looks good and what doesn't" ? hahaha if something looks good it looks good...
lol dont try and turn this into some sort of LL debate thing.
i've never been a fan of LL, but this stuff looks really really really good! -

Attempts at Montu track layout.
and a 3rd final attempt
Are only three attempts all that you have in ya? I'm so dissappointed Louis. I thought you were determined.
Hey! I can give you eight versions of the track I've worked on. All as saved game files. You can have them all and modify to your hearts content. If that's going to help you along. -

^yeh, cause im not actually going to do anything with them, I was just trying to see how accurate you can actually get and just having a little bit of fun with the game. -

^ Just curious, have you actually been on the ride? Ive found its very hard to capture a ride unless youve actually been on it. -

It could just as easily make you mistake parts. In example, a good headchop on a woodie will make you feel like you're going twice as fast.. -

No. I dont think that really matters. Unless you are doing a Kumba, in which case you dont just need to have been on the ride, you need to be able to go there a load of times and study the coaster and it's surroundings and take shit loads of pictures.
This was just a bit of fun. -

Eh, recreations are actually extremely hard to make if you want to make them both detailed and accurate, and I find it hard to replicate something in real life from a game. -

That's the entire philosophy of doing one...it's extremely difficult and extremely satisfying when you nail it.Eh, recreations are actually extremely hard to make if you want to make them both detailed and accurate, and I find it hard to replicate something in real life from a game.

So, I take it that you haven't even tried to run a train through the circut? Pity. Airtime thinks your layouts are better than the one that Maverick, John, You & myself have been working on. -

louis, i say you scrap the whole trying to be super accurate thing and just make a smooth layout with the right features. I promise you i will still believe it's a montu recreation!

Louis!: 3rd layout is pretty sweet. Not entirely accurate, but it looks damn good and everything's in the right place. (Mind if I steal some of your ideas?)
robbie: Looks good except for the path roof with lamps. That looks pretty ugly and I don't see the point.
