John, that's awesome.
Turbin3, that's awesome.
Trav, that's awesome.
Wow, 3 awesome screens. Good job, guys. -

Trav, that's really great, actually reminds me of my own Jurassic Park ride from a while back. Maybe swap the track to the mini coaster or something so its underwater, as you usually never see the 'track' in water rides like that. -

Turbin3, can you please stop with placing those overused annoying deco pieces on every roof you built?
Screen looks okay, not too much originality in it ...

Did you even took a moment to think about my question? It seems you just add them for 'extra' detailing or something ... You even have a brown pieces attached to an awning ... On the top of it ... If you would have add it under the awning to support the awning itself it would make some sense ... Now it looks completely useless. And this doesn't account for this thing, it accounts for 60% or more of your roofs, if you could atleast try to have a few buildings without them it would be such an improvement already ......
Now start thinking about it. -

As far as i can see I've no deco piece on top of the awning.
I add them, because I like their look. So, what's wrong about building things I like? -

Let me give you a helping hand then;
Red circle = awning situation.
Green circles = other situations.

hello cena, are you looking for a temp ban?
if someone likes to use a certain object then it's his freedom to do so. whether it conforms with what is your personal "ideal" world or not doesn't matter at all. -
turbin3 Offline
Cena, I know where I used them. And I like where I placed them.
If you wouldn't have told me this with this huge fontsize, it would be okay and me/others wouldn't feel offended/irritated.
Thanks for all comments though. (besides the mega-font-size post) -

Let's face it cena, horizontal plain bars are really useful objects.
I like it a lot turbin, but I don't like the wall from the path down to the beach, nor the sandcastle. The rest is really nice. And trav that's fantastic, just the landscape to the right looks a little rough and unrefined. -

I personally like Turbin's use of those pieces. It adds a nice edge to all the lines of the buildings. Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean you have to force your opinion on him. -

I am not looking for a temp ban at all. I am just pointing out that he is overusing that specific object. It's not just me, but there are other people as well who have pointed out, that he is overusing the deco objects (on the roofs from buildings that Turbin3 is showing).
If something is being told numerous times, and the builder is still asking for advice on something and he gets to hear the same thing every time, can we not say it differently then sometime?
Actually I can't care much anymore, if Turbin3 wants to use them, fine by me, but don't expect comments from me anymore on your other work Turbin3. -

The sandcastle is already removed. I'll take a look, if I can improve the wall.
Thanks Avanine & Split. -

I wouldn't question posix' judgment, Cena. You need to stop being so analytical, and just enjoy the aesthetic value for once. And just because somebody does something you personally don't like, doesn't mean you have to not comment on their screens. This was have gone a lot better had you used normal fault, at least IMHO. Turbin3, keep the deco pieces if you like them. The buildings are a little too overdetailed for my liking, and the sandcastle is kinda iffy, but if you like it, good work. -

Be careful not to have too much of an opinion, Cena, people get a temp ban for that nowadays.
Seriously, can he not complain about something? Yeah, the huge font was overboard, but it's still a reasonable complaint. -

Looks nice Turbin3, although I do understand where Cena is getting from. Maybe by relaxing your use on those objects, you can imbibe a bit of freshness into your work, making it look a lot more unique and new than your other stuff. Right now, it feels like a more colorful version of what you've shown before, albeit in a higher quality. I overuse plenty of objects, but I think by removing the deco blocks, it'll set these buildings apart and also adds the cool textural effect from the tiles of the object. Just my opinion, though, and something to contribute to the conversation. -

I already removed some of them and I can understand where you're all coming from.
Expect to see more soon -

I dont see the problem with it. It just so happens that they look good there. Why replace something if it looks good just for the sake that the object is overused?
