You're still improving but the style is always the same... I'd like to see something different from you.

But that's his style. That's like saying to Kumba (just an example), you need to change your style so it's different. The whole point is that it is his style. It's recognisable, which means it's unique to him.

Style isn't the same as theme.

Kumba varies his theme. Roman Vice doesn't look like Dimensions: RoC and Awkward Evolution is very different to The Last March of the Ents.

Turbin3's themes always look a little generic ,and therefore most of the time, repetitive. His new design is a step in the right direction though! It's just always the same objects, same shapes and same colours. The screen reminds me of Testament too for example. Testament was made almost a year ago.

Wow, H2H was already a year ago...

^Yeah style isn't the same as theme, but you mentioned style first which is why I commented.

Now I know you mean theme rather than style, I agree with you :p

A new project I'm working on. It will be an asian-themed park.
Envirement, nature and rocks are still to be made.

    and IN WITH A BANG.

i likey, i likey, i fucking like it.

Everyone is doing Asian themes, because everyone is inspired by sssammy's Asian screens :p
No but really, it looks nice leonidas. Maybe add a bit more 'regular' rocks between the rock landblocks to make it look more natural. I like the architecture, very Asianish.
    And welcome to NE :)

While the buildings are simply brilliant I think the landscape is lacking in the sense of there's no way that would support that building the way it looks now because its aal hollow underneath and you actually see this in the screen so maybe cover it up a little more and you'll have a very nice pieve of work to be proud of...

No offence to anyone who has ever built Asian stuff, but why is everyone doing it? Is it a building style you enjoy? Or is it because you want an asian themed B&M Invert in your park (that is a thing I see often). I am always asking myself questions, and this is one of them, maybe somebody can answer it?

because there's a panda exhibit in my park. pandas = china = pagodas.

I think a lot of it has to do with the difficulty in getting it right and that when you do...it can be absolutely beautiful.

Actually, at all the forums I'm on, with this one excluded.. I was being kind of "original" with this style, but as I see now, It's indeed a bit over executed at NE.

    Thanks!
And as I said.. the nature and envirement is still to be done. offcourse it wouldn´t.. that´s why this is only one row of blocks from the rocks, while they´ll come off 3-4 blocks ultimately.

Its good. The rooves are the best part and I like the way the land blocks come down over the path, but the walls could use more detail.

Because I had an asian themed solo that failed and so turned into 2 asian themed designs.

I think you can do better fences... Create more fence-unity. :p

For the rest it looks great!
  • leonidas%s's Photo
^indeed, I would use some lower fences, unless the're apes in there :p

As it is for the rest: great!
  • Top Gun%s's Photo
I think I see what your going for there BG. Maybe try a smaller fence on the path edge and then move the tall fence back some.

cena- its because oriental themes are fun and I/we enjoy the architecture and look of it. I don't like doing medieval themes, but I'm not asking contemptuously why everyone else does them. How are oriental themes different from any other theme?
  • RMM%s's Photo
bg, i don't see what's so 'fantasy' about it.
  • BelgianGuy%s's Photo
Mainly the theme itself if you see the screens with the flying dutchman from a few pages back you'll see there is some fantasy stuff in the park aswell... Its a combination of both styles I'm trying to achieve
