I checked that and it was already set to an areo them on my Windows 7 cpu, what happens is when I try to open 8Cars when running RCT2, 8cars opens, but every time when I go over the window for it, it ether always has that loading circle or it opens and then freezes. Is there a specific compatibility mode RCT2 or 8cars needs to be set to?

Maverix, you need to disable it! Now you have it enabled. So, instead of using this, you need to pick another theme (classic for example).

Well I disabled it and tried again, same problem. I've tried having it run on separate compatibility modes, same problem. Any advice?

Is UAC off? You might can try that too. (control panel / user accounts)

Is that the User Account Control? If so, nothing is still working.

Can you make a list of what settings you have applied now? I am kinda missing the connection between everything, it could be me only, but still.

Theme: Windows 7 Standard
UAC: Works nether on nor off
Compatibility mode for RCT2/8cars: I've tryed XP, 2000 and 98, none work

Also, RCT2 runs perfectly fine, it's 8cars that has the problems.

EDIT: Well I managed to work out some problems. I switch the compatibility mode to windows 98 for both rct2 and 8cars and disabled visual theme for 8cars. Now there are only two problems I've found.

1. RCT2 only opens once when I start up the cpu, if I exit out and try to open it back up, it won't open, no error message, it just doesn't open.
2. The load game menu doesn't open when I click on it, it makes a little ding and that's it.

^You can see the same que in both screens and both screens are near the edge of the map. It's a micro.

The fact thats its brown? or that theres jungle bushes in the path?
