while i'd love to join that chant, rrp, i really think your doubts regarding the supports exist for a reason. they just kinda don't look right.
agreed im still not 100% but im going to continue with them.I'll see how it turns out later -

it took me hours to built that little bit and the entire time i was thinking of a way to do laundry on some lines... still thinking. the graves could possibly work but that would only be that single color.
I think spartan used gravestones as laundry in Lost Tours. It looked cool and was recognizeable as laundry. I'd use them.
edit: BTW, what mapsize?Edited by Liampie, 16 November 2009 - 03:02 PM.

RRP- Interesting idea and method of attacking that, but I think it's lacking some final refinement. I'm not sure how you'd go about that, unfortunately, but the glitchiness really don't help to a large extent. It would be nice if you could make them smoother looking somehow. I do agree that it would be nice for a larger guage of supports that you see on some of the larger B&Ms or places where there's a big track span. Maybe there will be a solution further down the road, but personally I'd stick with the regular for now.
That said, your layout was a very nice Hollywood Dream influenced thing. That's such a unique ride in itself and I liked seeing your take on that-- a little bigger and a lot longe.r It seemed pretty nice for the most part; so hopefully you can continue with that and finish it up into something nice. -

i just have it in a 126x126 saved game called 'sandbox' where i do exactly that. i'd like to make a 90x90 or so themed to nothing but favelas. an entire map like that would be beautiful. but it would take years to finish haha. i spent about 3 or 4 hours or so on that one piece in that screen. and there are still details to add.
EDIT: which x-sector park? was it ever released?Edited by RMM, 16 November 2009 - 05:44 PM.

Dellagos... wow.. that's outstanding.
RRP, I like the supports, but they are a little glitchy to me. (PS: Didn't actually read the whole discussion above me about them). -

del, it looks a little...cluttered for my tastes. too much going on.
rrp, i like that layout. -

lovin it RMM. you should make a Quarry or an Underpass too. those might both translate pretty well into RCT. -

everything you show is so petite faas!
not in screen size, just in proportion and quantity!
is everything this big?
that said, this looks pleasantly refreshing -

i'm not sure about the colors in screen 1. they seem to be too dull. it also looks even almost sterile. peeps would definitely help here!
and screen 2 is... well. it's small. and the fence seems pretty weird. -

Watch the tree colors, Faas. I love how everything is small for some reason, long as you mix in some things that aren't as small with them. -

peeped mini at about %50.
wow this is so refreshing. I am increasingly starting to feel like the only one left on the non-ultra realistic bandwagon, and I absolutely love this. -

I'm still on the same boat, i've never been a fan of ultra realism, i prefer rides with incredible themeing -

What about Disney for example?
I'm all about theming as well but that doesn't mean it can't be realistic.
