That looks nice. I like the use of mini-golf path as the sidewalk.
Sorry Jonny. My inner attention whore couldn't resist... -

Woah robbie you just made everyone fell really bad at this game compared to you now. Well, me anyway.Edited by Goliath123, 15 November 2009 - 02:36 AM.

Actually you guys posting back to back helps me look at your screens better. The first screen is nice and calm and gets the realistic factor across (love the telephone poles/wires). And robbie, with that screen I need a breath of fresh air when looking at it. I love your work robbie, but there seems to be a bit too much going on here and a few texture clashes imo. I do want to see that invert however

You're on to a winner, Sam. Thank you for showing some creativity in LL.
thats very encouraging coming from a member like you, thanks.
Cena, thats a very shnazzy screen, the deco blocks remind me of a place when i was a child.
Robbie, that custom tree is really, really good. the architecture is very simple for your standards, and its still very, very effective. -

@sixflagsfreak56: Sidewalks are ingenious, go-karts don't look right.
@Robbie: Agree with JDP. You're very good at details but here it looks almost forced! I like the custom tree, but it won't work if it's the only one on the map. You need more of them I think. BTW, there is some ugly bare grass in the jungle near the willow on hte right.
@Cena: Details look a little forced. Are the logs a ride? There's no guiding rail and to me it seems pretty weird that there's wood floating everywhere. Plants+white water is not done and some underwater foliage looks ugly because of square objects. It's not bad though, I like the atmosphere. -

The logs are a ride yes. And no, the guiding rail is not missing, it is meant to be like this. Floating wood --> Read the sign, it says Shipwreck Cove, which is, a place in the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie, where all the shipwrecks are going too, that is why there is floating wood --> It is from sunken/broken ships etc. I should have explained it a bit more but okay. The reason for the rough setting is just to make the setting stronger --> Rocks, White water, Foliage etc. I hope this clears it up for you Liampie.@Cena: Details look a little forced. Thanks for the compliment and I like the atmosphere myself too .
More comments are welcome . -

I know why the wood is there, but I still think it's weird to have a ride running through this shit without guide rails for protection. I hope the wood anchored, because otherwise at the end of the day everything floats into a corner. It's just not logical...
Rough setting or not, plants in white water is stupid. Plants usually grow in motionless water, such as aquaria and swamps. If you want it rough, delete the plants. -

Hmm yeah, that is a good point Liampie, I will change it, thanks .

Ah, now I finally understand! -

I neither like the path nor the foliage.
+ the screen is really boring.
Replace the bunnyhop after the 90° bend with a looping. -

That's really good Nokia don't add anything else to that path
besides more benches, lamps, etc
All it needs is a catwalk and chain return and I'd say it's perfect -
