Turtle, everything about that screen just works. The colours are amazing, the landscaping is amazing, just everything.
RRP, I'm not a fan to be honest. I don't know why, it just doesn't seem to have any real atmosphere.
This will never get finished, as with everything else I ever touch
Quoting for new page.
Turbin3 - I'm not sure on the roof either, but I think the foliage is rather good if I'm being honest. I've tried to go for a look that looks a bit overgrown in places but not overgrown so much that you can't see the building. To do this, I simply placed the grey rocks where I did not want any foliage, because I never put foliage on the grey rocks. If you could suggest another colour for the roof though, that'd be much appreciated. It's going for an asian look, and inside the building there is a red B&M invert, so I'm trying to have it a different colour than red.
SSSammy - Thanks Again, I don't like the roof either haha. If you could suggest a different colour that would fit an asian theme, but not red, that would be much appreciated. I'm not sure how to make the rapids ride disappear. It's been a year or two since I last played RCT properly.
Nokia - I am indeed For now at least hah. -

Well red would fit. I think nobody cares if the inverter in it is already red. Or use another red.
Add more small bushes to the foliage.
Atm it's looking randomly placed, sorry. -

Very good sam, but keep control of the wall layers. It works here, but it often ends up as unnecessary busy.
Trav: Really nice screen, but I dislike the treecolours and I think the building needs an eye-catcher. Good to have you back! -

The red doesn't fit, great otherwise Casimir!
I have some LL inspiration again. While this screen isn't finished at all (sorry posix), I'll still post it. I wan't to know if I'm going into the right direction with this.
I lose interest in LL projects very quickly because I always fail to include rides in my theming. Always. Any general tips and thoughts on this? I really want to finish something in LL but it won't happen until I learn how to do this.
I want to learn to use codex too. I need it to finish this screen.
I hate that almost every sentence in this post starts with 'I'. I really do.

sprinkle in some of the brick wall texture, I think it would look better. I like the scale you have though, it seems pretty unique. -

trav - Good to see you back, maybe you'll stay longer this time? Screen is looking really good, nice to see you haven't lost your touch.
Shammy - That's really good. i'm impressed
Casimir - it seems a bit under detailed. But then I can't really tell due to the blurriness
Liampie - Good to see you doing LL again. But as Milo said, it's a bit too much of the same texture, brick would work nicely.
And an LL screen to follow an LL screen
South Point Hotel will be the first Hotel at Harrah's Grand Resort to open it's doors to guests. -

Trav: you could make the roof yellow. I think Robbie did a yellow roof when he attempted BGA.
Liam: Looks good, but yeah the red doesnt fit.
Louis: It looks kind of cluttered.Edited by Dark_Horse, 01 November 2009 - 05:52 PM.

a roof access door on that hotel would be cool... and maybe limit it to 2 of the wood fence types... add in some more wood trim to break up the yellow. I think the spacing of windows like on Liampie's screen would look better on your hotel.
the front gardens seem a little flat too... I'd add in some height variation... one tile up or one tile down for your garden spots... possibly even some steps up to the hotel. I do like the scale in this as well, it's nice to see more people attempting stuff like this in LL.Edited by Milo, 01 November 2009 - 05:53 PM.

Louis, that's awesome. i'd recommend sinking paths around the roof to get rid of the railings -

Liam: thats very nice, very oldschool.

That's great Louis, reminds me of nate's old hotels. But like MA said, try other way to make windows and blaconies and such.
