posix, I have a slight idea of what I want to do, but my RCT execution always turns out horrible.

I remember having this problem myself about a zillion times. Later I realised it was because the idea i had wasn't refined enough. It had too little ... how do I say, weight. Wasn't nurtured enough. So it was quickly consumed away when in the game and then I hit a block. Finding good ideas though can be hard, and there are people who can actually build without ideas a lot. I've never liked this kind of play though. It shows in their work.

On a general note, I feel sorry that you always seem to be targeted by everyone here, but at the same time it makes sense to me why it happens. I believe you play the game to post screens that you hope will be admired, to receive recognition and appraisal, two things you seem to need a lot. I assume you're in puberty? It's normal to be like that during that age, don't worry. The thing is, I believe it won't make your stay here very enjoyable. Because when people do not praise your screens, you get emotionally hurt and become defensive, which upsets people. It's a circle that could be observed in this topic many times already now.

If RCT really is fun to you then try to play more for youself. You wrote above "my work always turns out "boring and repetitive" to ya'll". Please do not focus on the members here. It's not that screens are supposed to turn out nice to us, instead they should turn out nice to YOU. And even when after having done something you think to yourself "my RCT execution always turns out horrible", I'd recommend to just leave it at that. You don't have to tear down everything just because it's not absolutely perfect to you. It's okay not to be perfect. In fact, I remember looking back at my own old parks and being able to observe and identify my mistakes has been very educational for me.

As I said earlier, I am trying to improve, but sometimes I just get a little carried away with ridiculing comments that offer no insight on how to improve. As for the first screen I posted of the monorail, I had a brain fart when building and couldn't figure out what details needed to be added.

Nokia, I can't find anything wrong in that screen (except for maybe how it looks like the waterfall goes underneath the pool.). But I also, don't see anything really special that makes it stand out either.

honestly, i don't believe you. if you didn't want praise then why would you need comments helping you to become better? do me a favour and stop being so affected by what people post. i'm sorry to tell you that constructive criticism is extremly rare and to my experience only possible via a personal conversation (chat) with someone. in this topic, people post screens to impress. people look at screens to be entertained. that's how it is. the meaning of it is by no means to offer technical guidance to one another.

I try to take the topic back ontopic, but you continue to take it offtopic. But whatever, it's your site, do whatever you want. Ban me if you really have to. Cause honestly, you're being as much of a nuisance as I am.

Wow, I've restrained myself from making any sort of comment on this whole subject but god dam its annoying me now.

What happened DH? the past few weeks I've actually liked reading your comments as you have been trying to get on with people and I noticed you turned over a new leaf and got good at the game. Now theres no hope. Please listen to people and realise all crit is good crit!

If I see a comment like "fuck off" or "or asshole shut up" from you after this post I seriously hope Posix will ban you but seriously dude we're trying to help. Your just making it so god dam difficult.

After Tracids comment you couldn't hack the critique. You had 3-4 good comments before that but all you want to do is bring this thread down? I understand your trying to be good and I applaud you for trying so hard but posting a screen goes either one of two ways so deal with it whatever the outcome.

Please get back on topic guys, I hate it when the "dump" place actualy becomes the "dump" place.

I might as well use it for Ultimate Tomorrowland,
as I need ideas for monorail stations.






I purposly left half the roof off so he could see how the station and paths are arranged inside.
But I see what a waste of time it turned out to be.

Wow, you made a big boz that manages to lack detail. Congratulations on being able to make a station as well as me. Note: The reason for no monorail/queue line in MY station is I prefer to build most everything in the SE then move on to adding rides.

You need to change that screen up.

I admit it needs work. But the basics are there. The supports under the structure and doing something to the roof to break up the vast blankness. I didn't spend hours figuring the whole thing out, like I would usually do. I was pressed for time as the topic in the Dump Place changes at the drop of a hat.

BTW: At least I tried. You're lucky I did this much for you. I believe everyone else had given up on helping you. So thanks for the sarcastic comments. You should join K0NG in his Angry Place.

When I finish the structure as one of the enclosures for the monorail, I'll let you see it in the dump place.

And DH, it looks likes everythings back to normal know is is? An apology to people would of gone a long way.

Yet your station still lacks all the realistic details that the rest of your UTL project does. If that big box (which BTW is tremendously short and wide) is something you like use it. There are so many more options you have to make that more detailed. I figured out (hopefully) some things I could put inside the station (Beside the monorail and queue) to spruce it up a bit.
