Wouldn't it be simple to just use Inverted Impulse track as the lift tower, this way you could have the bends in the structure.
Hopefully that makes sense, because right now the lift structure is too straight. -

This is a possibility that I definitely explored and the major problem I ran into was the curve became "overly dramatic" and a bit tacky looking, if you know what I mean. With Pilgrim's Plunge, the curve is very subtle. In fact, upon first look i didnt even recognize the curve on the ride. I will continue to play around with the impulse track and scenery pieces to see if i can come up with something that is not so straight. -

inversed, its awesome, i wouldnt change anything, and if you could get it to operate, that would even better. -

...You should build a more traditional styled park, kinda like mike robbins' magnolia gardens, it looks simple and fine, though that style is out of date, it looks good because of simplicity.
Just saw this, and sorry, but you won't see this ever from me (probably). What I'm trying to achieve with my ncso work basically is to show everyone that you really don't need any custom scenery to make something on par with it. People say that you can make just about anything with custom scenery and that you can't without it; i intend to prove them wrong.
Also, inVersed, please change the park's slogan. -

uhm...you know I think I feel a challenge here.
you want it to have a vertical lift and then a double plunge and/or lift?
kinda like I did in rctnw MMW ? -

Burn that motherfucker (the tree) down, so we can see that cool logo better. Add some foliage on those rocks. -

Ripsaw, if you're planning on putting architecture on that red grid, I'd advise against it personally. You could move the large tree there to make the ride logo more visible and make the courtyard a lot more beautiful with the added foliage.Everything else is very well done!

It starts out good, I dislike the second element though (the one after the large loop), I think it looks kinda wierd, but it's neat that it goes around the lift hill. The rest is allright, but i think that three whole barrel rolls are too much. The second layout gives nice path interactions, but the first one is more compact, I'm not sure which one I'd vote for... maybe you ought to try a third version
EDIT: Yay, I can now outspell Kumba! Wait, I always could...Edited by Splitvision, 21 August 2009 - 09:54 AM.

yeah, im not feeling either of these too. the area im trying to place it in isnt very big, and i dont like small coasters, but i will try a couple more alt. layouts.
but i do like the diagonal lift
edit: i do like my third layout though.Edited by Lowenaldo, 21 August 2009 - 11:20 AM.

Yes, so do IMuch better. Perhaps you could tweak the helix after the first barrel roll a little, otherwise the last bit becomes pretty repetetive with a barrel roll leading into a helix twice. You could also move the MCBR to where the first barrel roll is now, i think.

not too high on any of em. but the third is the smoothest.
try to create a change in direction with hills and inversions.
you're trying to change direction with flat turns and it's easy to spot.
almost like you're forcing the coaster to go this way...
i can't explain exactly what i mean. i know other people might be able to.
