Do something large scale with that much detail, and then I'll be impressed.

Careful, Cena. You might invoke the wrath of the Enns Monster.

Lovely screen robbie! I love how you used the barrels as raised planters. And the yellow and red go perferct together on that building.

well what's goin on with this area is that its an abandoned marketplace. there are a few colors here and there, but i wanted it to look a little dead.

and yeah i know i have a really bad habit with 2x2 that i need to break.
  • tracidEdge%s's Photo
Well in that case, may I suggest a little overgrowth? If it's been abandoned, there's going to be some plants creeping into places they wouldn't be. And since it doesn't look like you're going for a straight up desert judging by the grass and plants and shit, there would probably be plants in places. Also maybe try to make it look a little more dilapidated, more ruins (the actual scenery pieces, that is).

Maybe add some bushes on the paths? To make it look like it's growing through the paths?
  • Milo%s's Photo
tracid gave some good advice and I think if you're a little more adventerous with your foliage that would help a lot... experiment with some jungle bushes and maybe some other full tile trees (perhaps even the jurrasic full tile flowers) and maybe try stacking some foliage.

some more wood frame structures falling apart and overgrown would help (like abandoned tents and stalls)

also you have a nice little ravine pit thing :<img src=:' /> but nothing really in it but some foliage... maybe try making some little temple on the bottom with statues and egyptian blocks to give it some purpose and add to the "ruins" feel

@Robbie: There should be red on every edge of the building to make it look balanced. I'm referring to the top of the tower, it's less detailed and glitching. The diagonal part is awesome, and I love how you've used the barrels. Keep it up!

@Gwazi: Everything tracidEdge said + more windows. Otherwise, nice. It's good to see you playing LL again!

Gwazi, that looks like a desert zoo, with an area for an imprisoned merry-go-round.

    I like it.

Robbie, that is a-MAZ-ing!!! One of the best diagonal buildings I've ever seen and the hanging baskets are absolutely perfect!!

Gwazi, I really like that, especially the height changes with that low part (hard to explain haha). Milo's suggestions would make it even better and make the theme more apparent.

I just wanted to show this...

Are the colors too much? It's meant to be vibrant, but I don't want it to be unrealistic.

This look awesome! I like how you are using the barrels.

Robbie, I like how you used barrels as hanging baskets. I used pots instead when I did mine, which coincidently are in the screen below.

This is an extended version of the screen I posted a few months back, some of you may remember it.
