You're a better LL player than RCT2 imo. I really like it.

    This.

Other than the supports going through the loop, the only other thing I'd change is how you have the jungle fence holding up the egyptian bricks. Sorta kills it for me. But yeah, really liking it.

Gir, The rough landscape looks good to me and i like the coaster. The bullrushes are where they should be but try to make them a little less perfectly placed if you know what i mean

@Gir - The screen looks great, but IMO the ride would be better if you banked the curved turns (the one coming up out of the tunnel, and the two at the bottom of the screen).

Pretty sure he's using LL (see: water), so that's not possible.

    that rattler-esque helix sucks....

on the real ride I mean...

Yeah the coaster looks awesome but the ride itself seems to lack (in real life).

But yeah you pulled it off correctly for the most part.

Wow, sorry it had to be that coaster. I'll take the '92 version!

Your recreation looks pretty good. I'd like to see it when you there's some theming and landscape around it as that's what makes the ride what it is in real life.

First attempt ever at custom land(?).Posted Image
    Not finished.

This post would have contained a Terminatoresque woodie by me... but instead of deleting the transfer track, I deleted the regular coaster track.

    Fuck.

Edit: here's what I got left... the weather is an accurate portration of my mood.

Alpen, it's a nice start. Two things. first of all, on a cliff-like structure like yours the chances of getting a perfectly flat piece of land is not likely, so when building it, especially around the waterfalls, make sure that it is all slanted. you want it to look natural, not like a scuplted box, which is what the regular flat pieces are. Second, try to make the structure have a natural flow. even a jagged cliff has a certain flow to it. you want a number of pieces to run together, then break off for an elevation change, and then flow together again. in the screen you have almost no pieces that flow together or are at least connected. if you do this it will look more natural and be more appealing to the eye as it stops the earth from looking to busy.

Brent, that is also an accurate portrait of my mood after seeing the new Terminator movie. Always keep saving, dude!

If you're talking about the flat land on the left, that land is not finished. I'm going to put more of the quarter land pieces there. And on the bottom, that's where some more of the cliff is going to be. I'm just not finished with that yet, and it makes it even harder since I don't have 8 cars. Thank you for advice though, I'll try to change it up a bit to make it flow more.
  • SSSammy%s's Photo
why would you need 8cars to place landtiles?
    FK+ is right though.

Brent: that is just spectacular. this lonely little pair of transfers all alone in the rain. its almost upsetting, in a highly amusing sort of way.
