    In that case, I'm sure this will be great. Glad to see you working on some LL again. :)

    it's nice and all, but there's no depth to it. the whole thing looks entirely superficial.

    It's nice, but doesnt really give off much of an atmosphere.

    I'm with The Louis. Its a nice entrance plaza, but it doesn't seem to tell me anything about what the rest of the park'll be like.

    @gwasi

    Where's the detail? What exactly is the theme? I know it can be difficult with the smaller pallatte of tools available in LL, but show me some creativity here. Don't look at the game as an excuse to be underdetailed, but a challenge to achieve the same detail in a more difficult medium.

    i can understand the lack of atmosphere, as i've been planning on messing with that factor a bit more, but i'm not sure what is so underdetailed about it MA?

    i don't use this game as an excuse to be underdetailed anyway. i simply make what i think looks good and what i like. if it isn't very detailed but still has atmosphere (which i agree i need to improve in this screen a little bit) then why does it matter if its detailed or creative?

    Gwazi: more foliage. You have way too much unbroken path, even for an entrance area.

    It was fine to go without all the fine details back when every building took a bit of a stretch of imagination to fill in all the gaps. Ghost train windows everywhere and track bits here and there... But face it, we've all been spoiled with the work RCT2ers have been putting out recently.

    With that being said, I can answer your question now. Why does it matter if it's not detailed enough? Because they hardly look like buildings by today's standards--not without some serious use of my imagination. I don't care if you can't manage to put in pipes, facades, and sewer drains like they can in RCT2, but fuck, man... Make it obvious what's going on at least.

    And why does it need to be creative? Is that a serious question?

    ^I still dont get it.

    Fantasy is more than chucking random scenery and buildings together.

    Robbie92, dude, come on! Finish something already! :p Looking great, man.
  • robbie92%s's Photo
    Haha! Don't worry. CP6 is basically gonna be bugging me about the park until I finish it, so I'll have motivation...
