Would this work as a GIB tower support?

    Posted Image

I'd like to know if its good before I move on to the next one. BTW, would anybody be willing to merge the treacks together for me? It'd be really helpful. :)

Looks fantastic. But why are two of the footers shorter than the opposite two? And if you need some merging, drop me a PM. I've dried up all of my ideas for Le Tonnerre, so doing work for someone else will be refreshing.

I'm here for you again if you need it, Robbie. I can do any of that stuff. Send it to the same place and let me know what you need.

I'd do Vertical Coaster track for the lift merged with the regular invert track for a Super Boomerang...
  • robbie92%s's Photo
^It is. That's why I need help with the hacking.

EDIT: Nevermind. I'm gonna send it to CP6 because I have his e-mail address already. Thanks to those who offered.

FullMetal: The footers are different heights because the outside supports are diagonals while the inside are just normal supports. That is what accounts for the differences.

robbie, sante fe looks fantastic. very nice stuff.

tE- very pleasant to look at. I like the foliage and the amount of elevation change. Depending on the size of what you're building it might be a tad bare, and I wonder if you might do better with purple rapids for the single-tile tower bits?

The building is not done. I mostly just wanted to show that I was actually doing something, haha.

Also fullmetal, that's a smug fucken dog. Look at it.

lol te... the dog is a nice addition

the screen is ok... my problem is that what you've shown lacks anything that really pulls me in. it's nice that you're playing though and it's probably just this screen ;)

This are probably the final supports for Deja Vu. Enjoy!

Trying to put together a B&M Hyper coaster, just lookin for criticism on supports, foilage, and if i should use that type of train. I will have bigger, more detailed pics later soon, im fairly early in theming it and such. I have an overview of the coaster too if anyone wants to see it just drop me a pm, i might need some criticism on the layout.

More open A-frames as the ride makes that turn (to counteract the mass of the train going around the corner, physics man!) would probably help. But otherwise that Bimmer looks pretty fantastic (from what little is shown). Deja Vu looks disgustingly good. I'm very impressed; honestly.

robbie: deja bu? lol. looks good on the supports, though the ladders do look a little...unsupported otherwise its great.

RCTmike: the coaster looks good, but the foilage could use some help.

RCTmike: To be honest, I don't think the suspended monorail fits in that picture. Looks a little too cluttered. I think it could look better without it. I really like curve over the lift, though. Looks really cool.

Damn best trackitecture I've ever seen.

    The building is nice too.
  • ][ntamin22%s's Photo
mike- the interaction is great, but if you're going to put a chain return on the beemer the monorail might get in the way. I think it looks plenty cool without the monorail.
  • RCTmike%s's Photo
thanks for the comments, i got rid of the monorail. Workin on chain and catwalk right now, will have some pics of it soon.

tracid, the red flowers don't work with the other colours. at least thats what i thought first. then i thought, what other options are there in LL? couldn't think of anything that wouldn't be boring. so i think all the colours work, except for the aqua on that walkway. if you could make that black or something else, the whole thing would work better i think.

Jesus Mike, why did you have to post a screen RIGHT AFTER Robbie? >_>

    Just kidding, of course.

Anyways, Robbie.... I can't say enough how inspiring your screens have been as of late. The little things just make it so much better... Just one thing, though, why have the wooden track under like that? I mean, I know why it's there/its purpose, but neither of the Super Boomerangs I've been on have had that.

Mike: If you're doing a B&M, why have the Giovanola trains? Just something that irked me, lol. But about the screen, sweet lift wraparound like that. And yeah, the monorail did look a little off being in there. It seems like there would be real life clearance issues there as well...

Sammy: I didn't think you could make what you first showed of that entrance look good, but you have definitely pulled it off. Well done. Love the turnstiles, lol.

mmm, maybe. I'm still trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to get all this to work.

i really like the red flowers.. always have with an aqua color as a support hue (see me and roomie's H2H park for an example.. there's so much aqua and red in my area it looks like 'barbie girl' had a nosebleed)..
that being said, i find the foliage a little too sporadic. there's too much empty ground between the two growths there.. i think it gives an empty feeling to an otherwise fulfulling screen with large, grandiose buildings.
