Whether or not these recent screens were actually influenced by what was released recently its nice to see people adding more details to their rides

Thank you for all the great comments!
Here's the last sneak peek at the surprise project, which is around 60-70% done. These next two weeks are gonna be a hiatus for me (vacation!, and school), but afterwards, I should get it finished and submitted.

I still don't get the custom supports you have going on there with the skyway... the wheels would hit that and be unable to pass, right?

    Looks grat, robbie.

I think with custom supports, there are times when you can only do so much. With RCT2 and custom scenery, try not to get too hung up on accuracy and realism. Unless robbie added tiny wheels and axles, this won't look 'real and working'. It's similar to saying that none of the custom scenery doors in rct2 won't really work, because they don't have hinges on them.

There was a day when it took a stretch of the imagination to realize what builders were going for in a park, with the pieces of scenery or track they used to achieve a certain look. These days, in rct2, the stretch of imagination has shrunk to be ever so small.

This isn't necessarily directed at you Brent, I mean no disrespect. It's just something I've been thinking for ages.

    Architecture + foliage = yes

Supports and woody catwalk = no
  • posix%s's Photo
doesn't the woody track itself have a catwalk already?
  • Highball%s's Photo
i really like your stuff, robbie. this shot right here is yet another reason why. it doesnt have much, but its got a killer atmosphere. the only thing i dont like are the catwalks on the woodie.
  • Katapultable%s's Photo
    Why is that extra catwalk?
  • nin%s's Photo
    because it looks cool.
