also, what's with the fenced in 2x1?

in case the train volleys? Though I wouldn't think that it'd volley there..

Jusmith, you know what I think

^ A vallyed train would be at the bottom of a hill.

Anyway, that looks fantastic. Very nice composition. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

The 2x1 is actually a water pump, but you can't really see it from this angle.

Not my choice of screen btw... I would have shown a full screen but nokiaa chose one which is unfinished :(

That's quite an interesting screen, JJ. It seems quite similar to Hydra at Dorney park, though you've captured the atmosphere of a real life coaster so well that I hardly care. I'm finally developing an interest in your work.

    jusmith, you're improving hi-speed

The last couple of pages of screens are amazing!

    Love your landscaping, jusmith!

Just a side note, why is the standard for LL all of a sudden "it's good because it looks like RCT2"?

It looks fantastic jusmith, but I just wish people would stop saying that as if somehow this qualifies the park as great. It's so much more than that.

    Thanks all!

The progress is now about 97%! Just some minor details and touch ups.

Here is a final screen. It is my go at a Coca Cola Cool Zone or whatever, as well as an adjacent Coke flavoured slush stall. :)

    Just a little teaser...

Really can't wait to see it in-game. Good job.

That reminds me of an ICEE Chill Zone I did in my Fairwood Flyer design... very good exectution here, however, i am not liking how it glitches up, perhaps a wooden coaster flat piece would serve as a better cover.

just to continue a long string of ll work.

jusmith - I like it! The little fountains are a nice touch.

Louis - Love the station, great use of track parts. But what is the floating track above the brake run for?
  • zodiac%s's Photo
aww man, now my transfer track is going to look less sufficient.

    jk, it's beautiful, man.

Besides the glitchyness of the transfer track, it looks great.

Okay, so I'm working on a design, and I need just a bit of advice.

I get the feeling that the supports aren't right. The bases are like that for asthetics, I suppose, but the overall structure doesn't seem correct. The screen is very unfinished.

    All other comments welcome too!

Try putting a horizontal beam between the diagonal supports, holding up the catwalk. And add another support at the bottom of the lift.
Other than that, it looks good to me!
  • spartan%s's Photo
I think that the catwalk supports should lay across the top of the spine instead of above it with a single piece coming down

    8 Cars per Train.

Different angle, some grass, and extra support.

@ChillerHockey33 - Ha. I didn't even notice that the train had nine cars. I'll be sure to fix that.

    @Spartan - I'm not following you... :<img src=:' />
