^Okay you have 10 minutes to find me an inverted coaster with a small bunny hop in it.

    And...... GO!

^In between the corkscrews for Cams.
Although Pyrenes is a clearer example.

Yeah I know that. If someone was going to post something like that, you might as well just posted an normal Vekoma SLC. Both of those hills are air time hills. I am talking about something likethis.

An inverted coaster will never have an air time hill that is straight. Because it will either supply no air time, or it will supply too much; Since inverted coasters have shoulder harnests. Bottom line is it's inefficient.

In general, every inverted with an air hill, has the hill on a slant. The track is never straight like how Steel Forces hills are.

Never an airtime hill that's straight...

Well there are big straight segments going into the loop on the blue one and going away from the loop on the red one.
What? Two "that would never be done in real life" scenarios disproved by one coaster? OMG

    lol i made trains.

this is in the western area of my solo, i'll probably post a full screen this weekend.
  • Louis!%s's Photo
They are too tall for how wide they are.

Either shorten them or widen them as they look odd right now.

    But nice idea :)

Hah. And this one does provide airtime, plus it's straight. I don't know anything else that defines a bunny hop that this doesn't have.

Patriot at Worlds of Fun-not the best picture of it but no one takes pictures of the bunny hop.

Anyways, I would like those trains if they were shorter. They look pretty weird like that. It can't be too hard to make shorter.

    ^^looks good.
but as said before a little bit to tall.

Well I'm not sure I would have purposely left a long straight section of track in the design to begin with...I would have worked around that. As for putting a hill there, it will probably be pretty damn boring, a la Top Gun: The Jet Coaster coming over the station. It's really disappointing and kills the ride. So I'll throw this out there--redesign the coaster to just get rid of that piece of track completely.

I don't consider that an air time hill. I consider that an interaction piece.

Slowly but seriously that is getting fucking annoying.

Let's better come back to a reversed Boomerang with less cars!

There's an airtime hill right over the station here.
I think it's been proven there's airtime hills on Inverts.

And Fisch, why bring that back up?
  • RCTFAN%s's Photo
Seriously guys, get back on topic. If the whole subject about the boomerang bothers you so much then start a topic about it.
  • Fisch%s's Photo
    It was a joke.

I mean, have you even been on it?
  • Comet%s's Photo
    Yeah, I have.
    It doesn't kill the ride.

It's better than having a mid course brake run there.
It's pretty boring, I agree, but doesn't kill the ride.
