here's my suggestion then, I find doing this sort of exercise always helps me with my themes:
recreate this as close as you can. it obviously can't be perfect but try, even down to the water and trees and everything. if you want it to be a restaurant, you can make that front lawn into a patio area and put benches with tables all along it, and put restaurant-y stuff inside it.
instead of just jumping into a theme vaguely based on past iterations of japanese themes in rct (isole calabria comes to mind) try starting with something solid and real.
just trying to help you out, I see potential in you for sure. -

I finally got a new RCT2 disk, and starting by making this fun layout. It's inspired by CCI's swooping turnarounds and SFNE's Cyclone.

SoCal, that's a fucking awesome layout as far as fun for the rider is concerned. I'm just afraid it won't score very well with the pinky-out heavily themed crowd that inhabits these parts. keep doing what you do, and you'll turn that around, though. -

SoCal, it's a nice layout - the only problem is that it's all left turns. Get some variety in there if you can, it'd make for a more interesting ride! -

There's one right turn at the end. -

I rounded up. It's all left turns with one eighth of a right turn at the very end. It's essentially all left turns. -

Who really cares how many turns it has, As he said "just got a new disk and started with this fun layout" He just getting back into the game again. It is a fun layout, Wrong trains though -

Really like that layout. Looks a lot like a GCI take on a Mr. Twister model, but without the big helix (although I can see the SFNE Cyclone reference in there as well). Pretty fast and intense ride, judging by the tight turns, cool coaster overall. -

Socal: Looks like an epic, painful, awkward ride to me. Just the way I love them, haha. -

Thanks Aurora, I appreciate your enthusiasm for how I build layouts. At heart, I've always been a big layout-centric builder. Occationally, I'll make a layout that I really like, such as this.
Thanks. while I understand where you're coming from in some regards, due to the intentionally compact nature of the ride, and the inspiration from classic woodies, I actually like the way it is currently. If you've ever been on a woodie that turns only one way, they're pretty intense usually.SoCal, it's a nice layout - the only problem is that it's all left turns. Get some variety in there if you can, it'd make for a more interesting ride!

Caught red handed.Who really cares how many turns it has, As he said "just got a new disk and started with this fun layout" He just getting back into the game again. It is a fun layout, Wrong trains though />
Actually, those are the right trains. I said CCI. (Custom Coasters international) Their style was a mix of Traver's ridiculously twisty layouts and the traditional out-n-back woodie. Ghostrider is one example of their work.Really like that layout. Looks a lot like a GCI take on a Mr. Twister model, but without the big helix (although I can see the SFNE Cyclone reference in there as well). My goal was a compact and twisty layout that had a lot of intense spirals mixed with pops of airtime, and I think ot turned out quote nicely.Socal: Looks like an epic, painful, awkward ride to me. Just the way I love them, haha.
Ghostrider all the way! w00t!
while it may be one of the roughest woodies out there, it's sheer intensity, and (formerly) relentless pacing has yet to be matched. -

This isn't a new screen per say, I'm simply posting this because I haven't touched this park in a year and am looking to give it away to whoever has the time/patience/skill/inspiration/desire to complete it haha. I've progressed since building this, and am more focused on another project.
Please message me if you would like to take the reigns! I'd love to see this finished someday:] -
