Am I the only person who doesn't ever use the control key while building?
So no, not a stupid rookie question. -

I find myself having to take alot more time to properly locate a piece using the whole control key thing. Most of the time, i just elevate the land to a moderate height, build whatever i want, then lower it and fill in the rest as i go. But i think i have alot of patience with height issues, and most of the time when i build something changing the land, its because its ridiculous land changes, like building a castle on top of a mountain and such. heh

You're doing it right Mattk48, so i'm not sure what's going wrong.
shift to elevate.
Control to keep at the same height.
I also use them together.
It's a fiddle at the beginning, but you'll get used to it after a while. -

The fucked up colours ruin that screen for me.
The pretzel's (i'm assuming it's a pretzel) location is really nice. I don't like the use of road lines as fences, never liked them when robbie did them, it's just the completely wrong texture for a fence in my eyes.
I also think the Parachutes could have been done more realistic. The tower is perfect, but the parachutes themselves just aren't great.
Nice rockwork too. -

I don't know what the theme is but I quite like the screen. I like your work best when it's clean. I hope you find a way to do big themes in a clean way. -

the parachutes are meant to be this way because of the theme..
And yeah win7 paint hates me and fucks the colours everytime I use paint, but don't know what else to do with them to edit, can't photoshop tbh -

On the fence issue that Louis pointed out: Wouldn't it make more sense to use less modern-looking fences?
Also the flag is probably quite anachronistic? -

BG, doesn't win 7 have windows live photo gallery?
I always use that one to edit pics. -

you mean for the black ones or the curved ones?
the black ones are simply painted metalwork -

I'm pretty sure when you use paint it depends on what type of file you save your images as. For me, saving as .PNG alters the colors, so I have to save them as .JPEG -

Two different projects, three different locations but on every screen the same colors? -

Saving as .png is the only way paint doesn't change the colours for me :/ -

Try to save the file as a 24-bit .bmp
That's what works with me.
