Trav, any reason you feel like the tarmac takes away from the atmosphere? Or is it just personal opinion? Trying to improve
Tarmac just doesn't say Bavarian style architecture to me. I'd say either make the whole thing crazy paving or try the redbrick style path. -

@Maverix: Some very nice little quaint stuff. Agree with trav though, the tarmac is clearly not working.
@Jag-kid: Pretty decent stuff, but imho the scale is in fact a bit off. It just feels a tad too small, could be me though...? -

I think the flowers by the building don't work perfectly with it. Maybe just make them all the same colors as those under the trees. -

Have you been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg? They have a completely naked lady statue in a family park. Not that I'm complaining. Those statues look like they should be in an adult park.

Have you been to the Red Light District in Amsterdam? That's bush league compared to anything this city will throw at you. -

What you need to do is find yourself a girl.
So, anything else except for the flowers/statues? XD -

Well, I tend to think many of the old-scool'style Dutch RCT2 parks feel somehow stretched out, too spacious almost. The park layout seems overly simple and thus creates a boring lifeless vibe, even when there would be a few peeps walking that giant square. The scale is quite frightening considering how big the peeps are.
Don't get me wrong, the architecture is neat, the foliage is very decent, but it just doesn't have that sparkle of vivid atmosphere, that compact and cozy theme park vibe, and the complexity of realism. This is just something you might want to consider in the future, for now there is little you can do about it. It would require a completely different take on things.
This might be just a matter of personal taste btw. -

And saying this is supposed to be a big impressive mansion, whereas there'll also be narrow city streets and the like on other parts of the map. Still too spaceous for that? -

Don't act so innocent. You know damn well where to find the dirtiest, raunchiest, barely legal statue porn. Are there statues on the internet?
