RCT Discussion / Will RCT Install on Windows XP?

I'd like to know because my RCT disk went bad and the game got deleted when my computer screwed up. Today, I could get RCT Gold on amazon, which is version 1.20.013 according to rctspace. I'd like to have RCT again.

If you can find a copy of the original Loopy Landscapes disc that wasn't part of either Gold or Deluxe, you can get the Drexler patch to work. I've got Deluxe and used the RCT disc to install on this PC and then used my original LL disc to install CF/LL. I use a copy of my LL disc to play the game.

I could use RCT on Windows XP just fine and upload the parks from this website easy but you will need the drexler patch

I don't think you get it FreakyB. He's got RCT Gold which can't use the Drexler Patch. He'll have to find a copy of an original LL disc to be able to use it. And like RCTCA and posix said above, the game will work on XP.

According To rcthelp from rctspace, It works on "Totally Rollercoaster", which is the UK title of RCT Gold.
