(Archive) Advertising District / Ss2

This is a showdown, like h2h, but a little different it is a lot of fun, and alot of people join it. I would recommened it, since it is a good summer game. It is probably about a 10 week game with probably 5 teams. thanks guys

I was just about to post something about this too.

Anyway, just to give you guys some more information--The RCPro Summer SHowdown took place for the first time ever last year and was a huge success. In a way it's very similar to H2H in the way that multiple teams compete by making smaller-scale parks and submitting them to be judged each week. Last year, I know we had some really good parkmakers in the contest: eyeamthu1 and Vekoma9 are two that you guys are probably familliar with; we also had some familliar guys judging such as Phatage and Supreme Screamer (thanks again for that guys).

The competition is scheduled to start in late June/early July. It's a really great oppertunity to be involved in a pretty stress-free contest that won't take up much of your time. So if you're not doing much RCT-wise this summer, you may want to consider, be cause we're always looking for some good competition.

Hey guys and girls we have 21 people for sure signed up for the sowdown and 22 maybe. If we could get like 2 or 3 more people to sign up we can have teams of 6, with 4 teams, which would be great. the sooner we get 2 or 3 more people the sooner we can get the draft in, and get the teams rolling. Sorry to bring this back up. However the draft went on and someone had to quit on my team. So I'm looking for someone with great skills, that wouldn't mined help building 2 60*60 parks, with me and my fellow team members. Go ahead and PM or post here if you would like to join with my team. It ends on August 14th so it isn't oo bad. If you are in thew PT3 we could fit you in before the PT3 starts.

You don't really need that much time to do it, it wouldn't interfere with PT3 too badly at all.

I'm okay, I guess. I don't mind doing 2 60x60 parks, either. And if you want work, my B&M Prelim came in 4th, go ahead and look at that.

If I wasn't going to be in the PT3 I would jump right in. I suppose if you don't mind me building very little but very high-quality stuff, then PICK ME.



But whatever, if you guys need a sub or a judge just PM me at either site. For some reason it won't let me post over there (weird and frustrating).
