I'm so looking forward to this game even if it is Liberty City again. I hate the LC of the current series, but it seems they remodeled it to let it match NYC a lot more. Guess it a new map from scratch. Only thing that is going to make it better for me if they would also announce that there is a PC version coming... as I'm not going to buy a 360, although there are several reasons to buy myself a PS3... (God of War 3, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and ofcourse GTA4). Also the PC always controls a lot better than the consoles do.

I agree with you Tyandor, I also wouldn't want to buy a 360 just for GTA 4, so I do hope it will be released for PC too..
I was anticipating GTA 4 to be set in London though, but NYC seems alright to me too.. I like the sound that they want it to be more like the real NYC than LC did.. Because that didn't remind me of NYC at all..

Same here: With a lot of the big Ps3 games out on 360 (or vice versa depending on how look at it) a lot coming out before on the xbox (GTA Apparently, Oblivion, a whole year earlier) it was definately the right choice

All of those minus Fable 2 will be out this year, with Bioshock being released in August, and Halo 3 sometime this fall.
And I'm excited for Forza Motorsport 2, which is out in just a month now... And Banjo Threeie! Hell yes!

Now, I love GTA.... but I can't be the only person here that eventually got bored of the game. Broundbreaking? Yeah. Incredible? Yeah. Hell, these graphics for GTA IV are insanely good.

But I'm not still playing any of the GTA's I have. And it's not time alone that controls my interest... I'm still playing Call of Duty 1 and Halo 2.

The only GTA game that I ever consider playing when I'm bored is GTA VC. I like the music, and I think it had a decent storyline. San Andreas has too much stuff to keep track of, ya know? One minute you're pulling off insane stunts in your sweet ride, and then you have to stop to get something to eat because your loosing health, and then you get fat and have to work out so you can still climb walls, etc. etc. It sucked.

And definately go with a PS3. My 3 most anticipated games are GTA 4, Final Fantasy XIII, and whatever the next Kingom Hearts game is going to be.

I'm still looking forward to this, but i'm looking more forward to Metal Gear Solid 4.
