eh, i guess you're right. they're still awesome, though.

very true. and they're playing in baltimore in a few months with grown ups! should be good.

There aren't many good "screaming" bands. But there are a few that I prefer:

-Lamb of God
-Mudvayne
-Atreyu
-Shadows Fall
-August Burns Red
-System of a Down (If you want to count them.)

And that's about as far as I go.

i've come to the realization that individuals who enjoy such music as mudvayne and lamb of god tend to look down upon bands that are actually good and automatically dismiss them as 'terrible'.

my highschool was FULL of metalheads, so i've dealt with a lot of this sort of thing.

Not nessecarily. When used in moderation screaming can be pretty good. Pretty much every classic rock band has had a least on scream.

I do sometimes enjoy listening to mudvayne (hve never listened to lamb of god), and I don't think I tend to look down upon any kind of band. I might be an exception though.

As for screaming bands: Have The Ocean already been mentioned? They are incredible live.
