Y'know, everyone's bitching about the 'stereotypical' view of Canada... and using the stereotypical view of the US. Yeah. Classy work there, folks.

And I'd like to point out: the flag is not it's bearer. Just 'cause we elected Bush doesn't mean that Bush is the US. If you hate him, fine. Go ahead and say it. (That's the American way!) But leave the average citizen out of it.

Now to the real point, Americans are phony people.. but phony people are generally nice. Stupid, brainwashed people are generally nice as well. I think it's all biological, the people that moved to the US were the ones looking for a new beginning. New, and fair chances in the land of opportunity. So without doubt your ancestors weren't the successful here. Given that the really poor never made it out of here either, i'd still say the really smart people aren't located in the states. Look what you people choose for president!

And 51% of our country chose this president in 2000, and he won in 2004 because the Democratic party chose to endorse a canidate that was actually worse than Bush. But you may continue to think that we unanimously decided on him, if you please, because it really helps you win arguments.

Look, the way you chose your president is by voting, and in the end everyone in your country has the same president whether the other 49% likes it or not.

I don't think that bush is a bad president. I actually think that he has done quite well with what has been presented to him. If gore had been elected and had been in office when 9/11 happened, he would STILL be wearing a pair of brown underpants. And the pentagon told him that the iraqis had weapons of mass destruction, so he followed what they had to say. If i remember correctly, EVERYONE was all gung ho about invading afganistan, and then when someone said , Hey, saddam wants to blow us up, we were like, yeah, lets fry his ass. but we went, we knocked him out of power, and everyone was all happy. but then we satyed, and for good reason. To FIND saddam, and make sure he didnt come back into power. When we found saddam, everyone celebrated. then they expected us to drop everything and leave. It Doesn't work that way. You HAVE to finish what was started, and quite frankly, I don't think its finished yet., Not until we have killed the last peaceful suicide bomber and safely detonanted every car bomb. and we ARE trying to get Iraq back on its feet, and bush has done everything in his power to help this along. Sure, some of his decisions were poor, but not most of them. Most of the soldiers over there will tell you they believe in what they are doing. I for one stoutly support the president, allthough i will admit he has a HUGE flaw. he is a HORRIBLE public speaker. that much is true. but by no means is he stupid. They don't let Stupid people into the Air Force Academy.

If bush had "bombed" the Iraq with food and victuals and stuff instead of bombs, ALL the Iraqies would've loved him because they didn't have any goods in their country. And the few powerful wouldn't have been able to repress the folk any longer. They would've seen what the "democratic west" really stands for.

Gore and Bush were tied at 48% (with Gore having more of the popular votes). after Bush "won" Florida, it was officially over. so, really, the electors got Bush the presidency, not the country. LAME RITE! and it doesn't take 51% of a vote to win an election; it's the majority vote. theoretically, any percentage over 50 is good enough. 50.000127% wins.

-All people in the United States are decendants of immigrants.

-All American immigrants are stupid.

-All Americans are brainwashed, but brainwashed people are nice, so it's okay.

-The only immigrants that went to America were the ones that were failures in Europe.
