Metropole Offline
Metropole has good taste.
X-COM: Ufo Defense/Terror from the Deep
Master of Orion 1/2
Roller Coaster Tycoon 1/2
Halo 2 (never played the first that much)
Red Alert 1/2
DDR
Super Mario Bros 3/Super Mario World
Jedi Knight (never played the second one)
Super Smash Bros 1/2
Gradius (including spinoffs and sequels)
Tetris
Mario Cart 64
And I've just started playing Guitar Hero 2, and I really like it, but we'll have to see how it holds up.
Ah, I forgot to mention Terror from the Deep as part of my X-Com UFO game. That was a wicked addition, though much more challenging than the main game (I remember the ship missions being extremely difficult)
Glad someone else is keen for the old Microprose classics. Nice to see 2 other mentions of Master of Orion, awesome game/s.
For those that mentioned Gears of War. I bought it, and is there something I'm missing? It just didn't appeal to me. I played the first mission, got pretty bored of just sitting behind a fallen piece of building and shooting in a monotonous pattern of duck while they shoot, wait til they go behind and poke their head out, then shoot. Tried it out on online multiplayer. Was disapointed that only 8 people can play in one game and found it almost as monotonous as the single player, and a lot harder (obviously I was at the disadvantage of lacking experience), though it is pretty rewarding to thrash someone up with a chainsaw bayonet.

Obviously Rct1/LL and Rct2...
Otherwise Command & Conquer has been a long running favorite of mine (The original, Red Alert, (skip a few) Red Alert II and Generals)
Need For Speed (3-6) were all favorites at one time or another.
Civilization III was big for me for a time, as was RailRoad Tycoon II...
oh and the old microsoft games: Midtown Madness (I & II) and Motocross Madness (I think there were two?) <- Those two made particularly fun multiplayer LAN days. Great memories, haven't done that stuff in probably almost two years now.
I also used to be addicted to the N64. Super Smash Bros, and Ditty Kong Racing were the favorites, mainly because of their great entertainment value in group play.

Yeah, seriously. I would sometimes skip them simply due to the fear of having to search every cabin in the cruise ship for that one remaining Gillman. Ugn. And when they weren't time consuming, they were just hard. On the other hand, I made it through X-Com Apocalypse without losing a single soldier. Though once I started using the mind control technique to herd the enemy around, TftD got a lot easier.(I remember the ship missions being extremely difficult)
Actually, we all share a love for a certain Microprose classic. RCT was originally a MPS title. Then they fell apart shortly afterwards and we never got to see the renewal of the X-Com franchise. We still did manage to get the sub-sub-par MOO3 though. I swear, they somehow managed to remove everything fun about the previous games when they made that one. They even killed off the Mrrshans.Glad someone else is keen for the old Microprose classics. Nice to see 2 other mentions of Master of Orion, awesome game/s.
EDIT: Oh, and I really liked X-Wing, the Dig, and Monkey Island 1/2. I miss me adventure games. -

Recently bought Guiter Hero II and man is that game addicting. I couldn't out it down for about 2 hours . God I love these types of games.
Also add to my list:
ATV Offroad Fury 4
Need For Speed: Carbon
Tom Clancy's Spinter Cell: Double Agent
Looking forward to:
Burnout 5 (next gen systems) and Burnout Dominator (current gen systems)
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (yeah I know it's out already but I don't have it yet)
and if I ever get a PS3 (without getting shot *wink wink*) then Resistance: Fall of Man -

Since a few people play Halo 2 here, it'd be kinda cool to have some kind of battle on Live (if you've got it). I'm still setting up my online for my 360 though (haven't gotten the time). haha. But just a thought... -

I think I bought that, and it sucked, and it's probably in my attic collecting dust or something.
I though x-com apocalypse was shit, but I have it lying around somewhere, maybe I'll have a go
I wish they would make a new x-com game based on UFO Defence, perhaps even with some of the same aliens (etherels and chrisalids (sp?)). But they could improve the graphics and flow. Actually, on the other hand, they probably shouldn't. They are bound to over complicate it rather than keeping it simple. -

MOO3 was terrible. Absolutely terrible. I still dig out the MOO2 CD and play occasionally.
That almost seems to be a common theme with games...
I'd rather play MOO2 than MOO3.
I'd rather play Civilization II than Civ III.
I'd rather play SimCity 2000 than SimCity 3.
I'd rather play RCT2 than RCT3.
I think the only 3 I play more than 2 is Gran Turismo. -

Guitar Hero is the most fun I've ever had playing a game. It just never gets old. I could keep coming back to that thing everyday. Unlike, say, Zelda...when I beat the stupid thing I'm like 'fuck it' and move on. Guitar Hero has freaking awesome replay value and that's what it's all about.
I used to love SSX and still do. -
Marshy Offline
I've always found myself returning to play games such as:
Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3 & 4 (I enjoyed them all throughout the releases)
GTA III, GTA San Andreas & Vice City
Transport Tycoon Deluxe (With the self-made graphics people are releasing for this game..it's fucking awesome)
Rage Racer (The first PS game i ever played)
AOE II
