Strangelove - Below Bermuda
The Good
I liked the ship wreak and the domes with both track types (nice attention to detail on that), also the basic idea was really original. Pretty good work with the use of track down there and the hacked floating to the bottom effect was pretty cool.
The Bad
It looked super rushed and the overview is just really bad looking. I just can't get into the whole "Everythings underwater!" gimmick, it just did not do it for me here.
The Ferocious Tigers - Mars Colony Eurolai
The Good
Most amazing coaster I have ever seen, I don't even care that it does not work! The industrial stuff was awesome, I loved the pipes and supports all over, great touches. The ferris wheel in the loop made me raise an eyebrow, great idea on that. I also liked the underground cavern alot with the big red things, reminded me of Aqutica.
The Bad
Not hard to tell, but it's sorta unfinished and thats never a good thing. Also the coaster did fail, thats also never good.

Kinda funny that both played on what was beneath the surface so much in their themes, but the tigers did it a lot better. The Bermuda idea was great, but the execution was poor. I really liked the shipwreck, but other than that the underwater area is really underdone. I also feel like the surface could have used just a little more work, maybe a little something on the other side just to balance it out, because it reads as an afterthought. I really enjoyed Eurolai, the rock formations are just beautiful, especially the ice. The caverns take the cake though with the spores and creatures running around. The attention to detail with the piping and structures along the cliffs is also particuraly impressive. And the coaster is none too shabby either. -

Why does this topic have less than 10% as many replies as the other one (excluding my reply right now)? -

I want to know why the Tiger's coaster didn't work. Presumably it must have worked at some point, so why not upon release? Otherwise there's not much point in it being there, it just ruins the (albeit lovely) view. -

Well firstly ive got to say here was another two really nice parks. All builders must be proud because theres some really nice stuff in there.
Below Bermuda
Firstly i love the name of the park. I liked the general concept of it all but some things did'nt stand out as much as the other park. I did'nt like the coaster really with no supports even though it was meant to symbolise the fumes from a jet. Underwater the domes were awesome and the boat wreck was really cool. I thought the coaster underwater was really good. I watched it a few times, it just seemed to grab my atention.
Mars colony Eurolai
Again another really cool name for the park. Next i absolutly adored some of the things you did. you nailed the space theme and the park had some really new stuff that ive never seen before. i thought the mine ride moving round the landscape was awesome. I also loved the coaster although i really wanted to see it working.
The landscaping was awesome as well probebly my favourite landscaping of the competition. I loved the foliage underground and also in the little container. The park also feels finished comapared to the other one. I can't really put a fault on this park so that why i voted for the tigers. Great park.

hey had a chainlift in it that accelerated the car to much ..... I think there should be an other brake in it but maybe the brakes didn't work because they where working in the wrong way (altrough that shouldn't make any diffrence, a chain lift should work as a brake to in oposite direction). -

Soooo, why bother having a rollercoaster that doesn't work? I don't really understand the concept of the shoestring coaster as well as I maybe should, but why have the extra track after when it stops if it doesn't work? I can't wait until this is called so I can ask the person(s) who built it their reasons. Because the rest of the park I really couldn't fault very much, this coming from someone who actually HATES space themes as a rule. -

Well, blowouts never get as many comments as contested matches. Although I'm rather surprised this is a blowout. It might also be that both parks look pretty unfinished. The H2H East has been almost as bad as the NBA east this year. -
Corkscrewed Offline
No, the NBA East has been way worse. Check out Bill Simmon's article on ESPN Page 2. It's hilarious. Back to the topic.
The coaster didn't work because the parkmaker tried to do a hack on it, but the hack never panned out. He worked on it pretty much right until the deadline trying to fix it, but couldn't get it resolved. That's why the coaster is left in. It was meant to work. -

both parks IMO were very original. both coasters showed great ability but the mars conlony coaster was much more exciting. at first glance below bermuda looks like an airport and a coaster and i dont mean to be mean but as far as scenery...thats it. the idea of town under bubbles looked good but it really looked like just bubbles. while some parts looked great other like the scrap yard type area had lots of scenery and rides scenery that really didnt have a purpose or look like much of anything.
in mars colony that idea had been done before but it had a nice new spin on things. the coaster was jsut amazing alothough i was dissapointed it didnt work. i loved the invisable inverted coasters and the space station like buildings looked great. there wasnt much foliage but that is to be expected one mars and what little there was, was done soo well. i was confused as the wheather there was one large coaster or two because i swer i saw two cars at one point. the coaster was also very hard to follow. it looked very much in pieces but it cmae out really well for it mar colony theme.
congrats to both. both parks looked very good.

I cannot open Below Bermuda! I get: "Unable to load file. File contains invalid data"
And yes, I did put A4DTMK into my objdata folder and I tried to open the park more than once.
Maybe there is another custom ride/object that doesn't export very well?

Ok time to end the bleeding, take Strangelove outback and shot them like they almost did to Barboro...
With a score of 40 to 17 The Ferocious Tigers officially advance to the H2H4 Finals!
The Tigers park was made by Coaster Ed & Geewhzz
Strangelove's park was yet another Playoff solo by Ride6
Nice work by the strange lovers to make it this far and win the East, you guys had a great run. On the other side Geewhzz pretty much locks up a slot in the MVP voting come the awards and then theres Ed, damn his coasters are insane and unlike Gee he is elgible to go again in game 2 or 3 of the finals.
Great work guys. -

Most improbable finals berth ever. I mean, I couldn't even finish the coaster. After the beating I took for Dragonland being "unfinished" I thought we were going to get murdered over this one. Hell, I was ready to murder myself just to save everyone the trouble.
Cork pretty much summed up why the coaster doesn't work for me. I thought I could have a vertical lift hill, but it turns out chainlift didn't work on the ride except when it was going backwards. I still don't know why. And it was too late to fix it and still get it in on time. It's going to take some experimentation to figure that out. Oh and to the people who said it crashed, where does it crash? Because it doesn't crash on my computer and I've watched it dozens of times. I can't figure out what's making it crash unless people tell me where it happens. Does the train have 8 cars on it? That's pretty important. If it doesn't have 8 cars it's going to crash. And if you try to reset it, it will revert back to 7 cars. -
Levis Offline
ah...I reseted it so that would be the reason it crashed I think ....
what did you say about a vertical lift ?
for as far as i know it is possible to make a vertical lift in rct2 so what's the problem ? -

Eh......Bump!
I really like to see this park! The more since years ago Brent and I were planning a Bermuda Triangle park for the RCT Masters. It never happened, but I still love the bench I made for it. So who knows some time in the future I start building it at last.
Here's a pic of the bench. It is based on the real situation with a few additions (the rocky islands. The one in the middle holds the entrance):

WOW someone made a shoestring coaster lol.
Im currently writing a tutorial for making them so hopefully people will understand how they work. Ive also discovered a whole barrel of usefull new tricks thanks to my new park
Anyway for me this was a close thing. I liked both parks alot. I eventually went for mars even though it was unfinished. but i felt once you took the water element from BB it was just a reasonably nice park in a hole. Still a good entry though -

Just had a look at both parks and was pretty disappointed by both of them.
Strangelove - Below Bermuda:
I really really liked this idea of an underwater world and was looking forward to see it, but now that I saw it I am not really sure. I think there was a lot of potential with this idea, but that was wasted in this park.
The Coaster was really disappointing in my opinion. Why was it flying above the water, without supports, first and then going underground ...
The whole park didn't really catch me and made me go into it in detail. Already the small part above ground didn't really get my excited, but I hoped for more details underwater.
Indeed it had some details down there, but it looked really rushed and unorganized. It could have been a lot more lovely if you went for a Nemo-like theme or something like that, which I was really hoping for.
All in all I think this park was majorly rushed, so congrats on sending in a park at all, especially because this one, though being pretty disappointing in my opinion, was on pretty much the same level as the other park in this matchup.
Ferocious Tigers - Mars Colony Eurolai:
Pretty much a Déjà vu for me. The overview got me really interested, but once the park was opened it looked really unfinished in all areas.
Apart from that I think it has a lot of logical errors, which really bothered me. Just to name on here: The ice. Fits in really good there, but as far as I know they only have ice under the surface of mars.
The Coaster looks pretty good, though the stop there seems like you didn't want that. Not really sure what happened there, but nice to see a shoestring coaster again.
There were some pretty good ideas there, but maybe not enough ideas. I am not really sure if you just ran out of time with this one or if you wanted it to be like this.
