General Chat / Guitar Hero II

Ok, who has played it and what do you think about it? I myself was a big fan of the original version and although I know it’s not the real thing, It’s as close to playing these songs as I will ever get.

As for GH2, I think they stepped up the difficulty levels and some of these tracks are really fast. My favorite additions of the game though are the “Pro Face Off” and “Collaboration” modes. My kids play the game so much better than I do but it’s fun to try and keep up with them in these modes.

Overall, I give it 4.8 stars out of 5.

guitar hero is the best thing to ever happen to the ps2.

The Slip's new album (the one with Even Rats) is fucking superb everyone.

Haven't played part 2 yet.. I have the demo disc from the PS2 Mag w/ 4 songs on it. I myself am looking forward to playing some Free Bird and Sweet Child of Mine. I do own the original though, love it... not as much as my gf though, i prefer the real thing...

By the way, it's not out for Xbox.. I was told it will be coming out for Xbox 360 next spring though.

heh, played a version of guitar hero, be it 1 or 2 at Sam's today. It's alright I suppose. As a guitarist I found it rather fusterating because I know how to play some of those riffs and it's NOTHING like what's in the game. But whatever, it's fun.

Did anyone see that they now have a kareoke thing for ps2 now? How it actually works is beyond me though...

I just recently beat the game on medium... freebird is amazing.

it's a shame they don't have some better songs.
still a fun game, though.
