You're approaching Beagle leves of realistic goodness. Keep up the work, it all looks stunning. -

I love it. It looks so realistic. I can see where you're inspiration comes from (Phantasialand, Europa Park), but that offcourse are great examples! Looks perfect to me. Only thing I dislike probably is the statue, it'd look nicer if it wasn't there. The rest looks spotlight to me. -

@ eman:
Thanks for such a great compliment!
@ SenZ:[...]Phantasialand, Europa Park
Exactly!
Those parks are my personal inspiration.
Especially Phantasialand inspires me a lot with all it's beautiful themed areas...like "Deep in Africa" (around Black Mamba) or Mexico with it's new attraction Talocan.
But that's another story.
Also thanks for your telling me your thoughts about my park! -

Cool. Can't tell that much from the screen, but the buildings seems a bit too 2x2ish -

So has 2x2ism become the new "no-no"?
From everything uve shown so far, the park looks pretty good. -
deanosrs Offline
To say 2x2ism is a "no-no" would be to subscribe to the theory of NE style, in that if it's a no-no it's no longer pretty in a park of NE style. I just think that everything that can be done with 2x2 has been done already. The buildings I've msot enjoyed looking at were Meretrix's in his disney parks and cbass' in Wisconsin. No 2x2, just original, fresh, creative structures. This game is about enjoyment for yourself - just rabbiting out the same 2x2 structures can't be fun. Even for Butterfinger. So try something new, forget this site or any other rct site exists and see how much more you enjoy yourself.

The screen doesn't show much more explicitly other than those buildings, I think you've got a nice effect on top but it's hard to see. Looking forward to seeing more. -

thanks to everyone who commented.
I won't change those buildings any more because I think they look very well!
Also I think 1x1 & 2x2 buildings are much better than 1/4 buildings...they just look more realistic.
I know...buildings can look very realistic even if u use 1/4 blocks but in my opinion those 2x2 buildings always look good!
And I've got no "1/4 block - building" in the whole park and the park looks good though.
And now please give me some more comments and maybe speculate what this coaster could be themed to or something like that! -
Fisch Offline
Thanks for the comment but no it isn't.
Beagle's "Flying Dutchman" is an inverter and is in the dutch area of his park.
But this coaster is no inverter and it's not the dutch area.
There is a castle but that doesn't mean that Beagle's castle looks the same! -

Wow. Very nicely done! I haven't got any problem with the 2on2 style, as long as it looks good.
Can't say much more, cause I love it how it is.
Waiting for more! -

Thx Fr3ak for this comment...the first one who really likes 2x2 in this thread?
Maybe I'll show you some more screens tomorrow fr3ak.
good night! -

the idea you have beagle have going with advertisment is very cool but its screens like this that are frustrating. i can hardly comment on this because its all smeared and distorted. what is there looks nice but its hard to tell because its all blurred. as for 2x2 buildings there is nothing wrong with them, i used to us nothing but them, only thing is as RCT pushes more and more towards realistic and realistic fantasy parks 2x2 buildings begin to get boring. for the most part they are boxes with windows and doors and detail but buildings with layers and structures begin to look more real. as you add arches and balconies and deco layering you buildings will change hopefully for the better. either way i like what you have and am looking forward to more(perhaps clearer) screens!!

I didn't intend to imply that. I use 2x2 sections in a lot of my architecture.
I was just saying this seems a little over-reliant upon it, using 3 slightly different 2x2 towers that looks poor in my opinion. -

Looks like a fun park to explore and one with some really nice touches. I really like the look of Lancelot the best.

Hey guys,
here are some extra screens for you to show that I'm still working on this.
At the moment I'm really lackin' any sort of inspiration so this doesn't make any >real< progress.
I want to show you these screens to show Kumba that he can put me on his list for NE parkmaker, too, if he wants to ( - joke) and to get some motivation or inspiration by your comments.
Enjoy these screens because the might be the last for the next weeks.
what I've shown in my fiesta topic:
I changed some things at the top spin:
an overview of the right part of the park:
an overview of the left part of the park:
the entrance area:
Enjoy them!

edit:
It shows ~ 170 years ingame but I've played about 330 already but I reseted the date once.Edited by Fisch, 10 September 2007 - 10:22 AM.

I really love the structures in the first two screens. There's a lot going on but it all seems to flow so well.
