The renovation of the Mainstreet is now mostly finnished also the crossing from which you can see the promenade and from which you can also go to the other areas is now completely rebuild.
In addition there is also a new picture of the crossing.
The Norwegian area is nearly finnished, too.
The main attraction in it is Fjord Rafting which you will see with the next update in a few days!

Now however enough gossip and enjoy the picture!

    Looks really good,
but I think you used to many different paths and colours.
I don't like the blue/yellow/red path in the middle of the mainstreet.

For some reason, I can't open the site...

I actually like the paths. They fit quite nicely together and they're definitely not randomly organized. The buildings are excellent and full of detail and bright colors. In fact I don't even see any flaws in this screen besides maybe a few scenery glitches on the rooves.

It different... reminds me of disney. But good work over all i think. You took a big risk on using all of those colors but you may have just pulled it off.

A couple too many path types. You're using them well but it still looks too busy and that's why. Otherwise it's orgasmic. I can totally imagine myself into the screen, which is amazing.

Thanks for uploading the pic :)

    --------------

What a nice atmosphere, so vivacious...
I like the colors you selected and the architecture you're developing in this park, looks very detailed and traditional/classical. The paths are ok, the colorful one may stand out a little bit, but I think that's good. The foliage is ok, I'd make just one change...if I were you, I'd not put orange and white flowers, I'd put red and yellow flowers...crazy huh? Well, I think it'd look better. Another aspect I'd also try to work a little bit more is the balconies supporting...I don't know if every pole which is under a balcony is supposed to be a support for a balcony, but anyway, they look too weak...the balconies would fall down.

Anyway, apart from those things I told you, I think that this park is going in the right way, and I'd like to see more. Keep going.

I don't think all the supports for the balconies look too weak, just 1 in particular, and it doesn't really support a balcony, it supports quite a bit more. I'm talking about the 3x1 section with the tower right next to the 1x1 white awning object at the center of the screen. That section of the building is only being held up by the same supports that only hold up balconies everywhere else, thats the only thing I see that I don't like in this screen. Everything else looks great.

Thank you all for the comments.
I've only chosen those poles for supporting the balcony because the fit with the victorian decoration(fisherman's victorian set).
But I think I won't change them. If read so many times that realism isn't that important for most of you guys so please let my park be a little bit unrealistic, too. :D

But anyway thank you for the comments, I'm proud of myself because of this park and because of your great comments! :)

So anybody else who wants to tell me that he doesn't like the balcony supports? =P

i really like the last pic you put up. i think the part i like best are the paths and the overhanges in the corners of the pic. im guessing they lead to somewhere which really is a great realistic piece for a park. alot of parks put these sort of tunnel-like paths behind the main street area that lead you in different directions. it looks really good and helps add lots of atmosphere in your park. great work

the only thing i think could be improved in this picture is that you have great detail but somethimes it looks alittle random. it all comes together great but maybe if you sort of sectioned off the different patterns on the big street so that you can sorta get that feel of all these seperate building places very close together as well as tell where on building ends and another begins along the stretch. iehter way it looks very good. great work!

    Thank you for the comment.
It means a lot to me. :)

Hmm...maybe it would be interesting for you to here that I'm making a coasterright now which is themed to an old mine in the wild wild west.
    The Flash Mine. :D

I think its amazing how you've used so many different colours (and so much custom scenery), and yet still they somehow all come together. The only thing I don't really like are the custom flowers in the middle of the paths, but that's just a personal preference. Otherwise, it looks really nice, I am looking forward to this park!

The layout and size of the buildings is perfect....but the paths are screwy. I don't like the castle paths intermixed with the bricks and tarmac. I'd say either remove all of the brick path and replace it with tarmac so you can keep the castle paths, or remove the castle paths and replace them with the brick paths. It just looks like Jackson Pollock painting how it is now.

    Thank you for the comments,
I've got so many criticisms because of the paths but so many people told me that the path would be great. Yeah it's funny, everybody wants something else but I think I won't change it because that is my style and it looks good to my eyes.

So tell me whatever you want, I won't change the paths. :p

    Otherwise thanks for the comments!

    News,
the park's progress is going very well.
It is said, the mainstreet will be finnished soon and the Norwegian area is nearly completed, too. Today we'll show you a picture of ~Vikingar~. Enjoy it!

Wow you made those rocks look good. I really like that screen. Nice atmosphere with the winter style your going for.

This is some of the best use of custom rock pieces I've ever seen. The paths are well chosen too. Great work.
  • rct2_tom%s's Photo
I do love the rocks and the foilage. But I dislike the colors of the schip.
  • FK+Coastermind%s's Photo
I love the foliage on that screen. its very detailed and comes together very well!!! im not sure about the ride. something about the two big buildings on the entrance and exit as well as the weird sorta 'ticking out'look to it. im not sure about having the exit on the other side. maybe it might look nicer if you put it next to the entrance and expanded the building. either way very nice screen!
