General Chat / It is snowing.

Oooh, the fun of lake effect snow. Erie has decided that it needs to keep a constant dump of snow going at this school, and since the idiots who designed this place decided to make it a giant wind tunnel, we are forced to suffer through unending snow and tons of wind. Really its a great feeling to wake up to every morning.

well, snow was fairly minimal here ( south of colombus ) but i can't see out my windows- they look like stained glass, because there's a 2-inch thick ice sheet over them.

We're supposed to get 8-10 inches up here in the NE CT. My school's almost ready to announce it closed, but it hasn't even snowed yet . They's just all panicking cause it's the first named storm of the year. OOOOoOoOoooo scaAaAary scaAaAary named storm...

It's snowing like crazy out here now. I went into town for sugar and the main intersection wasn't even plowed yet. Worse, I could at least see pavement on my way out on my street, but on the way back it was completely covered with snow. School's probably going to be cancelled tomorrow, 2 hour delay at least, if this keeps up.

Got a snow day today again... but not much snow.

I got about five inches, and they cancelled school before any of it came.

Wow! So do we, what a coincidence. We also have ice/snow/freezing rain mix, which made the commute home from work today twice as long as usual.

well, we have clouds. And... well, clouds. No rain to make it worthwhile...

Well, I just got over 4 inches of snow with lots of ice in the mix. My car is completely covered in ice ATM. I have to start shoveling the driveway in the morning and try to get the ice and snow off my car. Maybe I can get the kid to help me shovel some of it.

School's already been called off, how very nice. I've decided to stay up an extra hour. Relax a little and stil get to bed so I can get up shortly after the sun, how pleasent.

So the University of Illinois just experienced it's first snow day in 28 years. And today, we got our 2nd. There is a God.

Well, I've got at least 1/2 inch of ice on the roof now, plus the 4-5 inches of snow that already existed prior to that. Keep hearing noises that I think is the roof straining under the weight. Hopefully it will hold until I can get hold of the landlord and have it checked out before any real damage occurs.

School was cancelled today and my friend got his car stuck in my driveway for about 4 hours.

I'll surely miss school tomorrow, since it is snowing since two hours at an extreme rate...

It's so fun going out on the streets and just sliding on the ice! Got only 30 cm, usually at this time of the season.

Hell yeah. First big snow fall (snow, sleet, rain, freezeing rain) for A-town Pa and 2 days off from school leading into the presidents holiday. 6 day vacation bitchezzzzzz
