Why are you guys complaining? Up here in Canada we got 6 meters of snow, IN ONE FRIGGIN NIGHT. Imagine having to get up and shovel a path to your car EVERY FRIGGIN MORNING -

I'd invest in a garage or something then, with one of those covered patios between. -

Pretty much every school in Michigan is closed. It's just too damn cold to go to school, according to the message we got last night. -

Same here in central Ohio.
Closed for tomorrow as well. I guess that's what happens at 2 degrees, with negative 10+ wind chills. -

Not much different in Indiana either. The wife drives a school bus and has to go in at about the same time to start her bus so that it will be warm after the two hour delay. Temp is supposed to be as low as -4 F tonight with wind chill around -15 F. High tomorrow around 12 F with 3-6 inches of snow on the way in the afternoon. -

You know how it gets too cold to snow though? Or that makes the air too dry or some shit. Yeah. Anyway, I hate that. -

Its so cold that the snow freezes lol, it's like walking on Styrofoam.
It went down to -35 C with the wind chill here, and Americans down south are complaining lolEdited by Video_Kid, 07 February 2007 - 05:00 PM.

Hahaha, I wish I had my video camera, at a Stop sign in front of my house, the guy was speeding and when he was about 50 feet from the sign, he slammed on the brakes but there was black ice, and he slide right down the street and there was a police car at the stop sign waiting for him to stop. He finally stoped at least 75 feet from where the stop sign was, it was hilarious, the cop gave him a ticket I beleive, maybe for speeding, running a stop sign, and for not keeping eye's on the road.
Than on my way to Cedar Point (taking the 401) around Chatham, there was a sign that said "Keep your eye's on the road" hahaha, those darn Canadians lol. -

lol On Tuesday it was 60 fucking degrees. Now it's back down to the twenties and with a possibility of "flurries". Crazy ass weather. -

I just got back from Indiana for the weekend. There was snow and it was quite cold and dry (especially since I didn't have my luggage on Friday). So now I know what you guys are always talking about. And I still feel fully justified in complaining about when it gets 'cold' out here. The big difference is that you guys are basically guaranteed to have sucky weather, so you expect that you'll have to wear several layers every day. At worst it'll just get colder and you'll need to put a little more on. We expect the weather will be good and temperate and happy, so when it's cold you're unprepared for it.
But I'll concede that snow can be annoying. But at least it can be fun, unlike rain (unless if you like jumping in puddles; it's not my thing), so it's not all bad.
