As much as I love Phatage's style and detailing, I had to go with Kukuana. Turtle's post about it pretty much sums up my thoughts...it had amzing details and a very charming and believable atmosphere to it, and personally I thought the custom scenery fit in fine. -

I voted for my park, as i'm proud like that. But Kipper was one of my favorite parks this year, I probably would have voted for it any other week. -

I'm the same way. IMO the only parks that could rival either Kipper or Kukuana were MSM, SM, and MK. And maybe a couple others, but not many. -

I am happy I could fully convinced vote for Kipper in the matchup against Oasis of Asha, for I loved Kipper.
But my favourite of week 7 (and probably of most/all weeks) easily is Kukuana.
No, that's not because it's from my team.......it's just that it's skill, creativity and atmosphere opens up a new level of RCT2 for me...
Custom scenery? I have nothing against it in general,
Of course there is crappy stuff amongst it, but also a lot of real goodies, and let's not forget that the PT-bench and most benches people use, are full of custom scenery also!!.........the fact that it is mostly custom scenery made by Toon - though of course a top scenery-maker - does not make it less "custom scenery" and neither does it mean that there is not very good custom scenery around from others.
Apart from that, I always feel it is not the most important thing what you use, but how you are able to use it, which separates the line between "just stacking scenery" and "creating something beautiful, or realistic, or funny or whatever atmosphere one is going for".
The first way is a cheap method to make things look "detailed" and hide lack of skill, the second way needs thought, planning, utmost skill, concentration and fun in/love for the game......
Kukana just blows me away because of that second way.........for me the result just looks stunning and unbelievable full of atmosphere, including the rides, and I needed to view this one many many times to just realize what all actually was done to achieve this, because it all blends in so well that the first 3 times one hardly notices that. -

The ironic thing about the battle between Kukuanu and Kipper is that they're both insanely realistic parks, but they attain their realism in completely different ways. -

I did vote for my team's park but i agree strongly with eman. I too really enjoyed the realism of Kipper becuase it's not what you would see usually, it's refreshing. -

Kukuana Vs. Kipper... I went with the former but I'm wishing I just nulled because I'm starting to rethink that.
