I heard Maverick will have a beyond vertical drop, similar to the ones on the Gerstlauer Eurofighters. Interesting stuff : )

I esspecially like the V-shaped supports on the lifthill enclosing the launch tunnel.

It seems it'd be fairly easy to make it in rct, too.

Wish there was a real-life overview of what it all looks like, atm.

Yeah...now that I've studied the layout a bit more, it does indeed look very nice....kinda Powder Keg-ish, but in reverse order, and with inversions, and longer, and better. Sweet.

It sounds kind of like a more thrilling and shorter version of California Screamin'. Like, CA Screamin' crossed with Colossus crossed with a Eurofigher. Sounds like a fun ride. Inversions, a launch, a lift hill, some theming, and a beyond vertical drop. And with a decent length. Neat.

looks pretty wicked. its a better location than tatsu which is kinda funny because sfmm is my good home park with actual roller coasters. (disneyland doesnt count, and knotts doesnt have enough)

must say tatsu is amazing as well

Rcdb says the official press release is Sept 7th. Guess we're all gonna find out for sure then.

I'd love to ride that...it has a really interesting layout.

Makes a change from the record breakers they've built recently, although personally I was expecting an attempt on the inversion record. Nevertheless it looks like another good reason to go to Cedar Point.

The secret is out. Also have a look at TPR.
