Ask the Experts / Save Track and Scenery

Is there anyway to save a track and the surrounding scenery? I know you can do it in RCT3, but is it possible in RCT2?

Yes, but it's far better to create your coasters with landscaping and quality theming. There's really no need for it.

Yea it's possible. Just click on the ride, go to the stats tab (shows a clock or whatever it is), and click the little floppy disk in the bottom right corner. You need to test the ride first.

I already know how to save a ride, but how to you save the ride AND surrounding scenery, I created a ride and gave it scenery and want to move it to another map.

Oh. Well it's the same thing pretty much. Click and hold the floppy disk, and a menu should pop up saying 'Save Track Design' and 'Save Track Design with Scenery'. Click the 2nd one, select the scenery you want by hand, or click the 'Select Nearby Scenery' button, and save it. You need to have all of the same objects in your new park to rebuild the ride with the scenery.
