I just looked at the in side train video and I just say "Wow!". For me it looks like it is heavily themed for a giga coaster. But one thing that I didn't understand: how the lauch section wouldn't be rough (at the middle part)?
I would surely go at Cedar Point riding this beast. -

rough?? we are talking intamin.. the track is more twisted to keep your body from jerking everywhere, kinda like a heartline twist.. looks scary but really you just stay in the same spot.. sorta. -

Storm Runner wasn't rough at all. It's the restrinats. If you're not ready for the turns then your neck hits the over the shoulder parts of the restraint. The heartlining may be a bit off, but it's definately not rough.
Maverick looks pretty good... long as the heartline it well it'll be a great ride. -

^Well yes and no. When someone goes on a coaster (not including us coaster lovers) they have no idea what to expect. They think, "oh its a new coaster it has to be smooth". Because I herd a lot of people bitching at the park on how it was rough. But if the restrinats make it rough, than its considered rough wether the trains them self run smooth or not. But lets drop it so we dont have to go on about a coaster that has nothing to do with this thread besides the company.

Who doesn't enjoy a nice rough jerky coaster here and there. I've always loved wooden coasters, and sometimes I think steel are too smooth at times, I understand smooth at 90+ mph. But look at Magnum, not the smoothest, not the roughest, but one hell of a ride. -

Well I will agree there. I perfer a rough ride. Never really said I didn't. Wild Cat @ Hershey Park is pretty damn rough, but its damn well my favorite woodie. B&M's are too smooth some times for my taste.

There is no such thing as too smooth! If you've ridden Goliath at SFOG you'll know what I mean. -

A rough coaster with lap bars is one thing, a rough coaster with OTSR's is an entirely separate matter. -

I've ridden Silver Star and yes those B&M hypers are extremely smooth and I really like it. However rough coasters aren't out of the question if you ask me, it give you a more earthy feeling. I personally like Bandit (Movie Park Germany) which is a wooden twister (believe it's a cyclone design) and it is quite rough and you definately don't want to ride it two consecutive times, but it pure chaos in the fun department especially in the back seat: you have no idea where you are going through all the supports and seeing the train divng and turning ahead of you. Gotta love that chaos. -

I like on that 'stats' page where they show how they're going to build it, like in order
Out of all the colours shown below, what looks the best on the train?

To me, I like the Gun Metal
