Ask the Experts / Fence Blocking Entrance (Problem Solved. Still Need Help)

Not sure if this belongs here or not, but I need help. The screen should explain...

I edited the Road Rally bench, and when I try moving the entrance, this happens. It kinda sucks because I had all of the objects I was going to use, and I was hoping to have peeps in my park. If you can help, it would be great. If not, that's fine too.

Another thing: Not sure if this is related but after I save the scenario and select it from the main menu, I get an Error Trapper. It only happens with this one. I didn't use any hacks or anything. I just selected rides and scenery. Any ideas?

I think that you should only build one path before the entrance : so your problem with that fence won't bug you. Also did you try to reload the scenario : it could works the second time....

Tried the 1 path, and tried reloading the scenario. The 1 path works to get rid of the fence, but when I save and select the scenario from the main menu, I still get an Error Trapper. I dont see why, I didn't use any hacks or anything.

probably like too many things in the ? tab or something.

Naw, can't be. I only have around 20 objects in there. Would that even effect the entrance?

about the error trapper:
check if every standaard rcttheme has at least one object in it that is standaard from rct2.

about the fence:
if you don't bother if guesst come in the park you can just use "remove border fence" from the 8cars trainer, if you want that guesst are able to come into the park open it in the SE and take buildings rights on the square (not totally buy the land).

I'll try that. Hopefully something will work. If not, Emergo offered to check it out for me so hopefully he can figure it out.

Edit: Nope, tabs are all fine. I didn't try any of the fence stuff though.

Edit again: I found the reason for the error trapper. I tried the same bench, only without Toon's supports, and it worked like a charm. So Toon's B&M Supports (the new sexy ones) are causing the game to crash. Why? I have no fucking idea. Anyone wanna give me an answer? BTW I fixed the border fence problem. Now I just need to get those supports working.

mm...rctmaster could you check with the datchecker if one of toons sups is corrupted, maybe one is became corrupted with downloading it.
if it has a red flag it is corrupted and you need to remove that on.

But you are right....on the world wide wide web, nobody can hardly ever know what anyone else "claims" to be....so I cannot really verify either if all "you men" really are men either....
(btw: I never "claimed to be a woman" until other people "released" that.....my screenname is neutral in that way, and I was just very surprised that when I entered this rather male-dominated RCT-community and won a VP with my first park, everyone took it for granted that undoubtfully I was male also....without even ever asking or doubting it......(male arrogance???)......just could smile about it and thought it funny, and had no urge to change their beliefs if nobody even took the idea/time to ask.....-
It was not until after a year when another woman in the community who knows me proudly stressed that I am a "she" and not a "he" that it got a bit more known.......

Alright, I managed to find the link to the Datchecker, and I've checked all of the support files. They're all green flags. Hell, every object I have is a green flag. So no problems there. I have no idea why I'm getting this error then.

Edit: Once again I've found the problem on my own. I'm not exactly sure why it does this, but I only get an error trapper if I select the footers. That's not that big of a problem though because I have objects that can replace that.

Edit Again: Alright, 2 probs solved, 1 to go. Notice anything wrong with this screen...?

There isn't a tree tab. I selected trees, and the tab shows up in the SE, but not in-game. Help! BTW This is my last question, I swear!

that means you don't have an original rcttree in it if you select the red fir tree it should be possible to see that tab .

in the dutch version of rct2 there where 5 objects you couldn't remove because the gamed needed them to show those tabs, after I installed the no-cd patch because my cd got a bit crappy I realised that this block wasn't there in the english version. but when you delete them all you don't see those tabs. the red fir tree was one of those selected scenery you couldn't deselect.

Hmm. I'll try that. I had like 6 or 7 original trees selected I think, but I'll check.

Huh, Aren't there original trees included with the protour foliage tab?
