Why would that have anything to do with it being a wingwalker? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but I don't see how serious sidewinding could make it a WW....it would more likely refer to the track alyout being very twisted or to some other thing...seeing as many of the other signs had things that would seem to make a WW doubtful if taken at the same level as the sidewindin' one (Back up Bronco, The winds of change are a blowin)

Okay, can someone post an actual pic of a wingwalker? :<img src=:' /> I get the concept, but I'm a bit fuzzy.

    Damn. :X

what ever happened to those cars with the chairs facing outwards that would be awesome.

Personally I don't even get the point of wingwalkers. They're just floorless coasters that can't take transitions as quickly since heartlining can't minimize lats as affectively.

DDR at the arcade. I got my ass kicked by a friend. I suck at it.

Top Thrill Dragster--we were about the fifth train. Good thing we read the signs because we would have shat our pants because it didn't make it over the hill! That was awesome because we got to ride it twice. :D

A: friends and i DDR every time we go to CP. idiotically.
we tend to run all over the park riding everything as much as possible, so we're all miserably tired by the end of the day, and kind of sore. so what else do we do but DDR for 45 minutes?!

    B: you lucky bastard.

I personally think the WW cars are really good. The train is on the rails and not under it like on an inverted coaster. The seats being next to the rails can still give you the feeling of an inverted coaster. At the same time you have a much better view as there is no rail above you.
It combines all the nice effects of a sitdown and an inverted coaster. Now they just have to use lapbars and I would be totally happy.

Yea, I guess that makes sense. I suppose it's the kind of ride where you have to actually experience it to know wether it accomplishes a unique feel or not.

Ugh....that's dissapointing. I guess it's most likely just a rocket coaster then, heaven forbid CP get smething original for once. :(
  • tyandor%s's Photo
Well it was known that the coaster would be a launched one (track has been spotted for LIMs). But that doesn't say anything 'bout the train design. Neither do inversions, see X and Griffon. We'll see what it all becomes though.
  • eman%s's Photo
Inversions means it's MOST LIKELY not a WW or Aquatraxx, which were the 2 main possibilities aside from a rocket coaster. I'll just keep hoping it's an inverting Aquatraxx, that would be pretty awesome. :)

Uhm, the wingwalker in Port Aventura also has an inversion: an inline twist. But as I said, we'll see.

And as screamscape is not the most reliable source ... the Cedarpoint homepage says "The Secret's out in 8 Days"

Really looking forward to this press conference. Hopefully it will be really great.
