I've got an irritating problem with IE 6, every time I click a link that would normally open a new IE window, the original one closes and the new one opens up. It makes it kind of hard to navigate back to where I was. Anyone know how to correct this problem? -

I do use Firefox and Netscape by far as my primary browsers. But, I tend to use IE for a few other things that I don't want to use Firefox and Netscape with.
In fact, IE is the only way I seem to be able to get the H2H4 downloads from Corkscrewed's site if he hasn't put them up on NE. So I'm kind of stuck somewhat. Like some others, I don't seem to be able to get to his site no matter what I do. -

banned, i think
and if you're having that kind of a problem, go into the "tools" or whatever the hell IE has, and change around some new window settings. That should work -

I've already set them back to default and I still have the same problem. Anyone think it might be related to Norton Internet Security? I know I haven't made any changes to that and it was working properly earlier. -

Since you use Firefox as a main browser, have you tried this yet and seen if it has the same problem?

I suggest you get the Opera Browser.
http://www.opera.com/download/
It has 0 bugs, So you'll be safe and you can visit most of the sites while you feel safe. -

I would, but I have enough tabs open in Firefox now as it is. In fact, I normally have 17 tabs open at a time.Since you use Firefox as a main browser, have you tried this yet and seen if it has the same problem?

I never said I can't, I just prefer to use IE for certain sites. Some of those sites automatically update and that seems to cause me irritation when I have them open in either Netscape or Firefox as the update process can either take me to that particular tab or 'resets' the cursor so that I have to click where it was before.Hate to be a nitpick, but at the moment, Opera9 has zero vulnerabilities according to Secunia, while Avant has one.
I'm just curious as to why that guy can't use a browser besides IE to do whatever it is that he wants to do. -
