Wow. This screen is almost as pointless as Phatages whole Great Adventure Topic. :p

Looks good, I would just add some more foilage. Keep it up.

I get nothing from that screen. However it looks like some of the best stuff, I would recomment using a few 1/4 pieces to raise the on the roof of the building above the building
  • RCFanB&M%s's Photo
    What's that supposed to be?
Anyway, although it looks good, there's nothing much to comment on that pic.
I like how you used the 1/4 land blocks...and the bulidng is kinda simple, so I don't have mant things to say about it...hmm...well, I think that if you change the color of the rooves, it'd looks better.
I'll wait for more pics, since this is getting more interesting...Keep Going.

    Out of nowhere!!!!

All right... Finally, after many months of procrastination (and playing WoW >.>), I have finally gotten around to working on this thing. Again. Before I once again get reabsorbed into other games.

Some random house someone built on an island. Don't ask me why, I wouldn't build a house there with a pirate threat like there is...

A hut outside the main wall of the pirate city.

A waterfront section of the pirate city. For some reason, that small fort thing on the right is bugging me. I'm thinking of taking it out alltogether if I can't find some way of making it not stick out.

Anyways... As always, comments, compliments, and (constructive) criticism are all appreciated.

the buildings look blah and the fort maybe sticks out because it's brick when everything is wood? Also, footers should start above water, then descend to ground level.
  • JJ%s's Photo
no Ling footers should not float on the water
  • Ling%s's Photo
they shouldn't float on the water, but they should start over it, and go to the bottom, underneath the water. I can't post a screen right now, as I'm at school, but if you still don't get what I'm saying I can post one at around 3:30

Thats true actually. The cement should start above the waters edge and then work its way down under the water. Don't want your bolts getting rusty and crack now do you?

Are there any rides in this park? All you've posted are parts of two coasters. You're architecture is great however.
  • RCFanB&M%s's Photo
Looks nice...it has a pleasant atmosphere.
The architecture is ok, it's simple, but it still gives a really nice feel to the park. Oh, I agree with Ling's comment about footers.
Anyway, this park shows improvement, keep going.

I think it all looks pretty good. Not much to complain about IMO. I'd just add a few trees here and there in some of the bare spaces. Some of the screens look kinda dead. Other than that I like what you've done. The ride looks great, cruising through the building like that. I like the archy and colors you've chosen as well. It builds up a very nice atmosphere. Good job!

Disregard my last post...I've read the topic title for the first time....

Now this really is not something I like, sorry to say that.

Screen One: Jungle Trees and Palm trees, tall no other foliage :-| well jungle plants. WHat I mean is aswell as your tall trees and short bushes you really need to have some mid height trees otherwise things look bare. The building is just rooves and walls and windows , which isn't really good enough to today's standards.

Second Screen: Horrible colours, horrible, horrible!. You got some midheight trees but they aren't really fat or thick enough. Your buildings once again are very very plain.

Final Screen: WIndows, Walls, Rooves, Little else again. There are a few things but they don't stand out enough to be even noticeable.

I feel like a noob asking this, but... I'd rather be able to work on this park more often and feel like a noob than just not work on it... Anyways, can someone please tell me how to play rct2 in a window? I know it's do-able, but I don't know/remember how.

Anyways, thanks for the comments, and I'll hopefully have an update sooner or later. Sooner if the question is answered.
  • Loopy%s's Photo
I didnt think you could do that with RCT2 I know it works with LL. I may be wrong though, im not big on RCT2.
  • spartan%s's Photo
i dont know how get play in a window and like loopy siad i dont think u can in RCT2 but if u want to minimize the game you can use Alt+Tab or the START button.
  • twister12%s's Photo
yah rct2 doesn't allow you to play in a window. that would be very handy with a trainer though.
  • Ling%s's Photo
why do you need to play it in a window?
